We've stayed here 2 years ago under a different management company and liked it enough to come back. However under Blue Ridge cabin rentals we noticed improvements from our last visit. Such as the key entry pad, the cabin being even cleaner than last time, the Sojo packs in bathrooms and kitchen, the hot tub having a new cover, and the refrigerator not leaking water. Didn't know there was a problem with temperature reading in hot tub but I guess they did as someone came out Monday morning to fix it. They communicated with us via text and email several times during our stay, welcoming us and asking if we needed anything. One email offering us 50% off additional 3 days rental since nobody had rented it. Sounded good but could only stay 1 or 2 more days.Had they offered by day I would have taken them up on that. Not sure if the prior guests had put out all the corn 🌽 around the wooded area by the fire pit or that's something new Blue Ridge did. But we enjoyed watching the deer come daily to eat the corn. This cabin is very close to my family's house in Banner Elk making it very convenient to visit with them. We also like having the fenced in porch allowing our dogs to enjoy the outside without worrying about them roaming off. We would definitely rent through Blue Ridge cabin rental again. (editors note - our Add A Night program is up to 3 additional nights. It is perfectly fine to just add 1 or 2 nights at the discounted rate).

We enjoyed our stay at Kaylee's Kabin—it's a beautiful cabin and in a secluded area. The pictures online are very accurate. We certainly had everything we needed for our week's stay. Both ends of the deck are gated which was nice for our dogs. There isn't much flat ground for walking dogs and the drive is all gravel. We ended up finding a few dog friendly parks in the area so they could enjoy longer walks and more outside time. The internet strength was very good. The main tv is a Vizio (which doesn't have the Direct tv app incl). We had brought our Roku stick and easily hooked that up so we were able to watch our favorite baseball team. The upstairs tv is a Roku. The beds were very comfortable, and power furniture in the living area was a bonus!! All in all a very wonderful stay and deserving of 5 stars.

Kaylee's Kabin was as advertised, maybe even better. The accommodations were clean, and the outside firepit and hot tub were a Godsend after each day of hiking. The location was secluded and private, but downtown Boone was an easy 10-minute drive; plus, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, and Blowing Rock were between 20 and 45 minutes away. We will definitely be back!

This is by far the best cabin we've ever rented! It was spotless and very well stocked. It has everything you need to cook any meal. The hot tub and wrap around porch was perfect for relaxing and stargazing. Lots of deer came in the back yard daily to eat and graze. The master bed was more comfortable than my own bed. Even though there are a few other cabins near by it feels secluded. We never heard or saw another person. We enjoyed fires in the fireplace each day and played lots of games and relaxed. Also, it appears the owner of Kayley's Kabin is in Law enforcement. We, too are a blue family and appreciate the little “nods” throughout the cabin that support LEOs. I can't say enough for this cabin. We will definitely be back!

We have returned home safely from our stay at Kaylee's Cabin in Valle Crucis. The winter storm with all the snow and ice did impact our stay, and thanks to Micki, we added an extra night to our stay and were able to avoid departing in the worst of the weather. Having stayed at this property several times, we were pleased with the recent upgrades, as well as the services provided. I have already had one of my neighbors ask for information for their vacation.

The cabin is very nice, and pictures were accurate. We appreciated being able to bring a dog, and being able to add that on after making the initial reservation. The hosts were responsive to questions leading up to the stay, and proactive with communication regarding directions and check-in. The road to the house is gravel and steep, and so is the driveway to the cabin itself. The description says 4WD required in winter, but even in fall with nice weather we were glad we had 4WD SUVs as it really helped with the steep descent getting in and out of the property. Not sure if we would have been able to get in and out as easily without SUVs.

We had a great time at Kaylee's Cabin. It had everything we needed. The location and view was perfect. My family enjoyed the corn hole, checkers and the fire place. The only suggestion would to have a small stool in each bathroom because those fancy sinks made it hard for short kids to brush their teeth.

Hot tub was definite bonus after hiking. As we already informed mgmt company, there is a leak in upstairs bath to the downstairs bath ceiling, seems to happen after showering. Also the fridge leaks upon defrost cycle, noted floor discoloration in both areas so its been going on awhile. Lastly, the hall bath toilet clogged the very first time we used it, after clean up and plugging seemed to work fine. Would recommend plumber give systems a once over. cheers

This was by far the cleanest and most organized cabin we have rented in NC! There is not a mountain view, but the wonderful cabin and fire pit (thanks for the included firewood!) made up for the lack of a view. We had a fire every night and loved the ambience. The beds were very comfortable, and having the great porches with rocking chairs was also a highlight. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need. The gates on the porches helped keep our 4-legged family member safe! The cabin location is perfect with regards to proximity to restaurants and groceries (Loved the Mast General store!).. Boone was only a 10 minutes drive from the cabin. Our thanks to the management who made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Your cleaning staff is awesome! Look no further for a wonderful cabin in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains! The entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby.

We have rented Kaylee's several years in the past and have already reserved it for next fall. We love the place! The house is very comfortably and tastefully furnished and has a big wood burning fireplace to enjoy on cool days. Nice large, well equipped kitchen. Excellent new, high end flat screen tv in the living room and another upstairs. Every inch of the property is immaculately clean. There's a big jacuzzi hot tub on the back deck that we especially enjoy and the view of the surrounding woods is lovely. The outdoor deck/porch area at Kaylee's is extensive and runs along three sides of the house. There are plenty of options for relaxing outside. This deck/porch area is all enclosed by secure gates so our dog can spend time outside with us and we don't have to worry about him. One of our favorite things about this cabin is that it is dog friendly. We have rented vacation properties from Valle Crucis Log Cabin Rentals for about 12 years now and have always found them to be friendly, helpful and extremely professional. Great people to deal with. I would highly recommend Kaylee's Kabin for a comfortable, beautiful stay in the mountains. There is a lot to do around Valle Crucis and Kaylee's makes a perfect home base for exploring the area.

We really like this comfortable mountain house. We used the wood burning fireplace each night as well as the hot tub. The wrap around porch is gated allowing our 2 GSPs to run free without escaping. I would high recommend this property.

We hiked Linville Falls and was able to drive to our favorite hiking trails in Grayson Highlands in Va. The restaurants in Boone are amazing, our favorite being Booneshine Brewery. The management was very responsive and helpful although the place was in such good working order we didn't need anything but a later check in. The only thing that would make this better is keyless entry. We have been to this same cabin multiple times now. It is close enough to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk to do whatever you want, but it is far enough away to be able to get away and not hear noise from people. We love it and will be back!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Kaylee's Kabin while we were in town for Appalachian State's graduation. The cabin is beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and living areas. The wrap around porch was a joy and our dog loved being able to run around on it. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit each night. The hot tub was not functioning the first day, but management was helpful in getting it fixed and helping us out. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Enjoyed this lovely cabin with my husband for our anniversary weekend. Very cozy and the beds were very comfortable! There was a winding gravel road to reach the cabin but we did fine in a regular car. No need for 4 wheel drive unless it’s winter time. Best restaurant we ate at was The Best Cellar in Blowing Rock - make reservations on their website. Cabin had everything we needed and we greatly enjoyed our stay!

It was very simple the only thing is I was charged 65$ through vrbo for booking the cabin through there website and was not aware of that fee until after the booking. Maybe I missed where they mention that or something not sure but I felt like it was extremely high also. Which that fee is completely out of the owners control for what they charge. Other then that everything was great!!!

Perfect cabin for our family. Far enough away to feel secluded but close enough to town to be able to enjoy all things in the area. Check in and communication was wonderful. Super clean place and exactly what we needed. We’ll be back!

Went here for a 3 day girls trip. Property was stunning. So much more than we could have imagined. Absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Great location. Will definitely stay again!

This is a great cabin, very clean, everything seems new. In a beautiful location. A little confusing to get to when first arriving. Easy to find once you know where you’re going. Definitely one of the best maintained cabins we’ve rented..

Property was exactly as listed. The only negative is that it is difficult to walk a dog as property doesn’t really have any flat areas.

Our stay was great! The cabin is beautiful and cozy. The outdoor is beautiful too. Easy to access, in a great location; close to all tourist attractions. The gated deck was helpful, our dog was able to walk freely. We enjoyed the cabin a lot. Planning to come back soon.
