Loved our stay here! We had a dog and two toddlers. The fenced in backyard was perfect for the dog. Everything was super clean and very well-decorated! We felt right at home. The host was very responsive prior to our visit when I inquired about the stair situation with toddlers, it was so nice to be able to plan ahead and pack accordingly (for others' reference, there is a door blocking the stairs to the basement so we didn't need to child proof that part of the house). They thought of everything. Thanks for a lovely long weekend, we'd love to return in the future!

High on Cloud Nine was an amazing home. We spent four beautiful days there during the peak of the fall foliage season and couldn't have had a better time. The location is perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing Rock (about 15 minutes to either), while also being within 40 min or so to Banner Elk and surrounding areas. The home itself was laid out well for our mixed group of adults, young children, and seniors. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong, and foosball table. While there are no mountain views, the surrounding woods are beautiful and make it feel very secluded even though you're in a neighborhood. The fenced in yard was also a plus if you're bringing the furry family members with you. Our only negative was the responsiveness on the day of check-in. The house hadn't been rented for several days prior to us coming in, so I reached out to see if we could get an early entry. It was explained that "day of" inspections still have to be done before determining check in time, which was understandable. I reached out at 12:30 that afternoon and was told they would check with their team and get back to me. Two and a half hours later, I hadn't heard anything so I messaged again. At that point, I was told the house was ready, one hour earlier than normal time. A little more transparency and responsiveness would have been nice, being told they'll get right back to you and not hearing anything for almost three hours isn't great customer service. And even then, I'm not sure I would have gotten a response at all if I hadn't messaged again after the long wait. (Please note that we do ask guests to please not request early check ins during peak season as we are not able to accommodate them. We do give complimentary early check ins when possible in the off season. -BRMR)

We could not have had a better experience staying at High on Cloud 9 through Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. We rented the cabin for a month and absolutely loved every minute. I miss that covered porch on rainy days already. When we got home our kids kept saying how they already want to go back! BRMR responded quickly with any question that we had. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Perfect for our 3 families. Plenty of common area to spread out. Large kitchen table that we used for cards and games. Comfy beds. Staff very responsive to a couple of minor concerns. Best part for our 2 teenagers was the ping pong table in the basement--only thing in the room, allowing lots of room all around for chasing their best shots. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at BR's cabin for ASU graduation weekend. It accommodated our family and extended family quite well. The cabin was large enough to host dinner for the entire family comfortably and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have space. Ping pong table, hot tub and lower level TV/entertainment area provided wonderful options to keep all the family happy. Lovely home, gorgeous views, nicely decorated. I would highly recommend!
