Cabin was amazing! Perfect for our getaway with a posse of boys! Cabin had everything we needed and the creek was a big plus. Only thing I wish was more chairs to sit in on the porch and kitchen could use some new pans. Will definitely go back though. Super close to west Jefferson which is so fun to go into town.

Older, but cozy, creek front home nestled between two other homes in a beautiful area of mountains. Being able to step out on the porch and hear the creek down, below, was really nice! Pet friendly - no breed/weight limitations!! Breed discrimination makes it hard to find nice places, thankful for this owner!

This is a problem we have had before with this property the last time we were there. Response was an issue then as well. The location is great, but updating of the deck and firepit furniture would be a great idea. Also one of the beds had no box springs with it so there was no support when lying on it. The best Boone experience we've had yet. Beautiful cabin with so much to do inside and out. The location can't be beat. We loved our experience and will be back again. Our dog felt right at home and loved jumping into the stream on the property every chance she could get.

If privacy and a stream/creek is what you're looking for then this is your place! The location isn't bad, but would probably need 4 wheel drive if snow is expected. Overall the cabin is nice and has plenty of room for a crowd. Tweens and teens would love the upstairs and the game room. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with cookware and dishes. There is a gas grill also. There were a few cons for us and that was no curtains at all except for the bedroom and bathroom. The steps outside going down to the backyard are falling apart and are not safe for anyone. The biggest drawback was the lighting inside the cabin. It's hard to see at night particularly in the bedroom and bathroom. For people with sight issues this could be a problem. Other than these few minor issues, it's a nice place to stay and is conveniently located to West Jefferson and Boone. Our cons may not be an issue for others and overall it's a good place to stay!

It a very beautiful cabin. It was very clean and big. The only thing I didn't like was the stairs. Stairs are not sturdy, as you're going upstairs they start shaking because they are not sturdy. Other than that I loved it. I would rent it again in the future. I just hope they upgrade stairs.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin the place was so nice and clean and plenty of room and so peaceful and we loved being near the creek and hearing the water. Our kids and grandkids came to stay over night so we could all go to Tweetsie, which was just a short drive away and it was Thomas the Train weekend, we had no idea. So needless to say our grandkids were so excited when we arrived and they saw Thomas!! We will definitely be booking another vacation trip again.

This was by far the most amazing vacation! The cabin was beautiful inside and out. To get my son away from games and see him so entertained with nature was great. We all loved the creek, fireplace, hot tub, and floor plan. We went hiking and kayaking at nearby parks, and were even able to instacart groceries so we didn't have to leave when we didn't want to. I would give ten stars if I could!

Words could not describe the experience! Being able to make such memories over every aspect of our trip has been so amazing! The cabin and the surroundings were breathtaking, the customer service is remarkable from start to finish! Perfect cabin for a trip with 2 families! We had 3 adults and 4 kids traveling with us and there was so much to see and do. We wish we had 2 weeks!! We will definitely return and hopefully during warmer weather to fully enjoy the nearby creek. When we arrived (after dark) the porch lights were on and communication was great to make sure we could enter easily. The pictures are very accurate! There is a pod and carafe coffee maker (regular filters not funnels for those wondering). We brought plenty of supplies but there was sugar, filters, powdered creamer, and coffee available. There were no dish towels to use - only paper towels and that was a little of a downfall as it felt wasteful. The fire place and hot tub were easy to use as well as the games in the game room. The tvs were a little more complicated as they were Samsung and use a different format. Also, the spiral staircase leading upstairs needs to be updated. It is very rickety and felt dangerous at times for the adults and the little’s. There were extra towels available for the hot tub which was nice! The walk to the creek was a little steep but we were able to walk down without too many tumbles. It was so peaceful and relaxing. A couple of the Adirondack chairs outside were broken so we were careful not to use those. It is a beautiful house in a great location and we can’t wait to visit again!!

This was a highly satisfying experience from initiation to conclusion, from booking to final check out at the end of our vacation. The rental company was super easy to work with. The cabin itself was as advertised, a highly utile space with a large and picturesque riverside yard which served young and old alike. The hot tub and the beds were high-quality. Value per dollar spent, this cabin exceeded expectations relative to other cabins we researched prior to booking. We would definitely book this cabin again, and use this rental agency as well.

This is a beautiful property. The babbling brook next to the house was a soothing addition. The house has a lot of space. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. One small issue was the Keurig didn’t work and all we had brought was k-cups. However there were some coffee packs in the kitchen to save the day. There is a drip coffee maker and we recommend bring coffee grounds. We picked up some tasty beans in Boone!
Getting into the house was easy. Finding it was a little challenging even with directions, but the pleasant location made this minor struggle worth it. The house was in perfect order with a little welcome gift.
Be prepared for open sleeping arrangements. One king bed has a separate room with pocket doors. The rest are open to the room below. The other king has its own space, but is open to the space below too. This was fine for ladies weekend, but might not be for every group.
This was a lovely property and we would definitely stay there again.

Ideal for entertaining several pre-teen or teen kids!! The L-shaped loft has 4 twin beds, a full size bed, a small playroom with toys, shower/toilet/sink AND access to its own spacious full-sun deck; you access this loft via a spiral staircase or a ladder only. Playroom off kitchen has foosball and second tv area, could sleep one on this couch. The main living area has wonderful 2-sided gas fireplace - several kids could access it for smores or hot dogs at once. (We loved sitting by fire with coffee and a book on a rainy day; kids up in loft) Has large cleared-off front yard, horseshoes, firepit, a couple big rocks, direct access to fun little creek area that parents can watch from several porch seats or the swing. Cabin 10-20 minutes to BR Parkway, multiple activities. Nearby West Jefferson is really fun, further Boone is also a great trip. Nearby Mt. Jefferson hiking trail just hard enough to wear everyone out (it has some drop-offs, they are marked). Views are sensational. Plenty of pizza places, hamburger stands, ice cream shops near this cabin, but we also cooked in with no problem - 8 can eat at main table, 4 at kitchen counter, second table seats 4, picnic table on deck. I will caution that preschool-age and K-2 will have direct access to the gas fire when turned on, steep walk down to the play yard, a couple areas in the creek are a little deep, and the loft area and 2 decks are quite high up, so diligent supervision would be needed for smaller kids. We heard coyotes & owls, hawks, lots of birds, saw chipmunks, rabbits & deer. Pretty cool place. COMFY beds. Cons: Upstairs gets hot during warm weather (we cranked AC for a few hours and there is a ceiling fan and box fan). Sliding screen doors were really hard to use, we popped them out and set them aside, windows are screened if we wanted to have breezes come through. We had a great week at this cabin, I'd rent it again.

I was looking for a weekend getaway for my family w 2 teenage sons. We stayed in a beautiful cabin called Hidden Creek. There is a gorgeous creek flowing in front and it was so nice and peaceful to rock on the front porch swing and listen to the rushing waters! My husband and boys enjoyed playing horseshoes and testing the cold temperatures of the water. In the evenings, we relaxed in the hot tub out back. The cabin was very close to West Jefferson, and we shopped in some of the quaint stores. We had a blast, and made wonderful memories! I highly recommend!
