Five stars for the cleanliness, comfortable beds, overall floor plan, and most of all the peace and quiet experienced on the cabin deck. In addition, the complimentary access to the Community Clubhouse was a surprising and much appreciated amenity, with the vistas from the deck absolutely beautiful! All this at a very reasonable price.

Headwaters Hideaway was a beautiful home that was very clean, had everything we needed for our mountain adventure, and to top it off, had a beautiful view of the mountains. There was a problem with the upstairs bathroom when we arrived, but when we called the property manager, they sent someone to solve the issue that night. The kids loved the foosball table and games upstairs, and the clubhouse on the property was amazing! Our family would definitely stay at Headwaters Hideaway again!

This home was beautiful! Everything was just as pictured. Very peaceful. Driving around the neighborhood was even amazing. There's lakes, sitting areas and an amazing waterfall. Can't wait to return!

The property we rented was very nice and everything about the transaction was very smooth with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. There were a couple of times that the internet went out and they got back to us very quickly and got it resolved seamlessly. Their staff is very nice and effective at getting things done. We would definitely use them again to rent another home. On a side note, we have purchased a lot in Elk Banner and plan to build a second home there. We will likely rent the property part time and would definitely consider using BRMR to handle our rentals.

We loved this house! Gorgeous wood interior, awesome fireplace, and very cozy. The snow also made my birthday wonderful. Make sure you bring any food you would need...even salt!! Directions need some improvement and make sure you map it out - the street named in GPS map I used didn’t match the names of the streets. Possibly because the street name changed. Overall a wonderful stay. We’d come back here again.

The house and surroundings are beautiful. I would make a strong suggestion to have a snow shovel or 2 available at the property! We received over 10 inches of snow over Christmas and not a snow shovel to be found! We had no issues (AWD) vehicle getting out, even though the driveway was not plowed and very steep. The roads inside the community and secondary roads leading to Banner Elk were plowed well. Please add a snow shovel! Also adding a blower to the gas fireplace would make it more “functional” for heating. Otherwise perfect place, stay, check-in process, etc.
