We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Happy Trees Cabin and fell in love with both the cabin itself and the surrounding area—we were genuinely sad to leave! From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all got a great night's sleep. The cabin was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.One of the highlights was the well-stocked kitchen with top-notch appliances, which allowed us to prepare a massive Thanksgiving meal without any hassle—it truly had everything we needed, just like being in our own home. The fireplace added to the coziness, keeping us warm on chilly evenings, and there were plenty of extra blankets and linens available for added comfort.We especially enjoyed the bonus of sipping a warm cup of coffee while watching the stunning sunrise from the living room windows—what a peaceful way to start the day! Plus, its convenient location near Boone made it easy to explore the area without long drives.We can't wait to book Happy Trees Cabin again—highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway!

Our Cabin, Happy Trees in Deep Gap was everything and more! It was well decorated and the Cabin was so cozy and warm on the inside.
The Electric Firepit was awesome! If you love nature, then this is the cabin for you! So peaceful each morning watching the sunrise over the mountains while listening to all the birds! I highly recommend this cabin!

The cabin was comfortable, nice view, very convenient to Boone, West Jefferson, Blue Ridge Parkway and the grocery store. The cabin could use more coffee mugs. It holds at least 10 people and there were only 5 coffee mugs. We liked the large dining table that could hold all of us at once. The gas fire pit outside was nice as well.

We enjoyed this cabin very much, everything was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked, the cabin was clean…etc. The only issue we had was the that the majority of the lights on the exterior didn't work so it made it a little scary to be outside at night not being able to see what's out there. Other than that, we had a great experience and will definitely return in the future. (Please note this review has been shared with our maintenance team to address - BRMR).

Happy Trees is a beautiful cabin and a great place to stay if you are looking to get away. We went for the 4th of July, and enjoys fireworks and parade in Boone. There was food delivery which was great after being out all day. I would definitely recommend this cabin to any family or even just a couple looking to log out.

This house was perfect for my family ski trip, 20 min from App Ski Mountain. House is off the beaten path and 4 wheel drive would be necessary if there was any weather at all. The house was everything we could have wanted.

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation (8 adults & 2 toddlers). Plenty of room for everyone to gather together & also enough space for everyone to be able to have some privacy. The kitchen had everything that was needed to make large meals.

We stayed a cabin in December 2024 named, Happy Trees Cabin. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about it. I have never stayed in a cabin so clean. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals do an amazing job with their cabins. We will definitely be using this company for our future rentals!

Given the circumstances of Helene, the cabin we had originally booked (and had stayed in last year) was undergoing damage repair, so Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals sent us new options to choose from. We chose Happy Trees and honestly loved it way more than our original cabin!! Super accessible/easy to get to. SO clean inside. Cozy. Easy to operate fireplace and all new kitchen appliances. Comfy beds, gorgeous mountain view. We loved the basement area and pool table. 15 min drive to downtown. Just a super clean and comfortable home to stay in and we were so sad to leave. Will definitely be returning!

Let me start out by saying as soon as you walk into this cabin you literally feel all your stresses just melt away. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. We were 3 generations of family getting together to relax and just spend time together and I couldn't think of a better place. The younger adults had the downstairs game room to hang out and then the rest of the family had the upstairs living room.The cabin was extremely clean and inviting. We will definitly be staying at this cabin again!

Absolutely beautiful place! The mountains and the trees are so peaceful. We were there in May, but if you are there in the winter, you'd probably need chains or a 4x4. The cabin was great. Plenty of space for all of us. Would stay here for sure again sometime!

This company was the best to deal with from the beginning when we needed to find a great place to stay and they took time and answered all my ?'s. And helping me book at a great deal and they always text you with updates and to check on you. Just awesome customer service from beginning to end. And Happy Trees cabin was the best. Just a wonderful trip for my daughter's 18th birthday.
