We had such a memorable stay and the cabin exceeded expectations in every regard - in fact, we loved it so much, we barely left the cabin! It's situated in a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy and incredible views. The location is also perfect because it's situated right between Blowing Rock (which we loved!) and Boone. Could not recommend this place more and would absolutely come back!

We had a great time at Gratitude during our fall stay. Check-in was super easy, as the house was ready and clean when we arrived and we could just go directly there.
We were only a family of four, but you could easily get 2 families in this cabin. The cabin was very well stocked with all the kitchen items we would need.
The hot tub was great to soak in after a day of activities and really easy to work.
The kids loved the NBA Jam arcade game in the basement (as did this 40-something "kid").
Location of the cabin was great -- about 5 minutes into Boone, and maybe 10 minutes into Blowing Rock.
A few activities we really liked:
- Driving the Blue Ridge Parkway from Blowing Rock to Linville. Beautiful with fall leave color change
- Ropes course next to the alpine coaster near Banner Elk
- Breakfast/Brunch at Social on Main in Blowing Rock
Overall would definitely come back!

The location is perfect and the house was great for young families. Each room had plenty of room for a pack n play and even an extra bed for older kids. The basement was so fun for the kids. My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Gratitude to celebrate a Birthday. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook several meals at home. The large island made a great prep area and gave us plenty of room to set out food buffet-style. The Living Room furniture was comfy and stylish and we all got a good night's sleep in the spacious bedrooms. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the upstairs deck while listening to the birds and relaxed in the hot tub at night. The emails from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals prior to our stay ensured we knew exactly what to expect and the staff was friendly and prompt when answering questions. We hated to see the weekend end but highly recommend this home and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gratitude. It was very clean, had more than we expected such as both regular coffee maker and Keurig. cookware, glassware ect and lots of games and puzzles, pool table mini fridge in the game room/wet bar with a sink. Lots of room to move around. can't wait to go back!

Property was in the perfect location to attend our daughters graduation from App State! House fully accommodated family members who joined us for this special family celebration.
Note to future renters- gravel parking lot at bottom of hill is actually owned by homeowner from across the street. Best to communicate with them if they are home. Long steep driveway is manageable for multiple cars but you must back everyone in!
In spite of parking challenges, the home is just terrific!!

10/10 would stay again. The house was even better than the photos and the location was excellent. The only issue was getting into the house with the padlock, as the code that was originally sent to me before check-in did not work. It all got sorted out just fine in the end. Highly recommend this house for larger groups!

Spent a few days here midweek to get outdoors and enjoy the mountains. House was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Had an issue with the door code, but the maintenance team was responsive and got us in over the phone. Great location close to grocery stores and restaurants but tucked away in the woods so you felt more remote than you actually were. Teenagers loved the pool table, darts and hot tub. Had daily visits from a family of deer with two little babies and my daughter claims she saw a bear tipping over our (thankfully empty) trash cans.

This was such a beautiful home! Perfect location between Boone and Blowing Rock. Everything we wanted to do was within 10 minutes! The pool table and hot tub were an added bonus!

This house is beautiful and has everything you would want for a mountain getaway. It even snowed during our trip. It was magical. The location is perfect, and I did not want to leave. The floor plan is ideal for multiple families. I hope to be lucky enough to return sometime very soon.

The whole rental experience was fantastic. The communication was excellent even after we got to the cabin and emailed asking for the wifi password. The check out as far as what we had to do before leaving was the easiest I have ever experienced renting cabins. We stayed in the Gratitude cabin and I can honestly say this cabin was amazing. I couldn’t find one thing that was a negative or draw back from this cabin. The decor and especially the furniture was great because our son was sick and we spent the weekend on the couch. We have rented cabins for years and this cabin ranks in my top 3 for sure. I am truly glad the family that owns the cabin is willing to share their lovely home with others. We can’t wait to go back and we will soon for sure.

Our family had a wonderful long weekend at Gratitude. The cabin was roomy, comfortable and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking and eating our meals there. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The location was also great being near both Boone and Blowing Rock which are one of our favorite vacation spots. After searching hundreds of listings in Boone/Blowing Rock and Cashiers/Highlands areas, we found this most wonderful cabin. The cabin was even better than pictured. Furnishings were top notch. Beautifully decorated. Amenities galore such as fully equipped kitchen, jetted bath, hot tub and pool table to enjoy. Located between Boone and Blowing Rock for shopping and dining, near Moses Cone and Julian Price areas on BR Parkway for hiking and other recreation, and attractions such as Tweetsie , Mystery Hill and gem mining are very close by. Nice porches for relaxing with morning coffee and enjoying pretty vistas of surrounding wooded mountain valley scenery. Can't imagine a better spot for APP State football weekends. Easily accommodated 8 for us and would do 12 OK in my opinion. Landscaping is very nice and well planned. Parking was adequate for four vehicles. Located on one way circle which slows your exit slightly but hey, you're on vacation. Gets my vote as #1 choice for future stays in this area. My cudos to owner for this jewel in the High Country.
