We loved the house, not only the space and amenities inside, but especially the amazing view from the porch. We were very impressed with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals from day 1. I spoke to several people but ended up finalizing our plans with Cindy. She was very professional and extremely helpful! I explained to her what we were looking for and she “nailed it”—-it was perfect. We rented Grandfather Vistas….exactly what we were looking for and absolutely gorgeous. Already looking at dates to return to this property. We will continue to use Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and Cindy!

Perfect cabin with a gorgeous view. Great communication and easy check in and out process. My only suggestion is upon arrival don’t pull in the first entrace but pass it and turn in the second entrance so the cabin is on your right because it’s much easier to pull out of the driveway facing that way :)

Great house with a beautiful view! We saw lots of wildlife....a bear ran across the backyard and several deer, turkeys and bunnies! One suggestion for owners is to put a few rocking chairs on the deck....we had an infant and it would have been nice to rock and enjoy the beautiful view. We took extra towels/cloths since only one towel/cloth per person was provided. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of games, books and puzzles on the lower level. The internet was spotty so be prepared. We had a great vacation with family in this very homey rental!

Beautiful home with amazing views. Everything was perfect. Lovely gated community with not many houses. Gas pipeline hack happened during our stay, so we did not get to explore the area as much as we wanted due to the gas shortage......we spent most of our time walking the community roads and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Very quiet and peaceful. Great location, not far from Blowing Rock and Boone. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!!!

Everyone from BRMR has always been so helpful and easy to work with. This house was incredibly clean and well appointed. We cooked multiple meals and had everything we needed. There were lots of games and puzzles for a rainy day. The hot tub was very clean and also had a great view. We found the house to be spacious but not overly massive. The house is pretty secluded and we almost never heard any man-made noises. It was about a 15 to 20 minute drive to the things we wanted to do around Blowing Rock. So our outings weren't spur of the moment. However the quiet seclusion and the breathtaking sunset view from the large covered deck were more than worth a short commute! We will absolutely rent this home again!

Grandfather Vistas is a comfortable home with beautiful views. The sun set over Grandfather Mountain right outside the living area windows/deck. The kitchen island is awesome. We cooked dinners with ease. Quiet, private location but close enough to places of interests.

We absolutely loved our stay at Grandfather Vistas with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. The property was perfect for our family of 6 adults + 1 baby. The location is a close proximity to adventures in Blowing Rock & Boone. The neighborhood was quiet, felt like we had it all to ourselves! And the porch views are exactly what you want in a relaxed mountain vacation.

What a lovely place! Really, this home looks great in photos, but it is actually better in person! Our group of eight (parents, adult children, and spouses) had a wonderful stay and we have already discussed a repeat stay in the future. We cooked a bit in the kitchen, sat around the fireplace and the fire pit outside, slept in comfortably, and hated to leave. Everything was very clean, and the stay went off with no complications or difficulties. Since it was an all couples group, we really appreciated that there were four large beds and no couple had to be split up on twins or a bunk bed. It’s not always easy to find that.

The house was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet. We had a total of 7 people and 2 babies stay which worked great for the most part. The only issue which I didn't realize until we got there was the living room really only had room for 3 maybe 4 people to sit so after the babies went to bed people had to disperse if they wanted a place to sit. The back deck had plenty of room for everyone but we were there during some chilly weather, otherwise it would have been totally fine. Overall we loved the house and the nearby town of Blowing Rock. Definitely recommend this house.

This property was perfect for what our family needed. We were only looking for a place to stay while we went to a local event and once we were there we hated we didn't have more time to actually enjoy it. We travel a lot and thought this property was perfectly decorated without too much. The ping pong table was a huge hit and although the hot tub was very nice, we unfortunately didn't have a chance to use it. Our only complaint really was having to drive to the office which was several miles past the house to get the keys. It was late and we were very tired but overall everything was great!
