We truly had such a wonderful stay at this home! The view was incredible and it was so peaceful and we saw so much wildlife! The location was perfect and so close to town and to the Beech Mountain Ski resort! The home was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was a wonderful touch! The management team was incredibly helpful and responsive and took care of any issues we had immediately! I have already recommended this home to multiple friends and we hope to stay here again sometime :)

For a long weekend in the mountains, this was the perfect location, secluded yet relatively close to everything! It was peaceful and quiet with a fabulous porch to soak in the cool mountain air and the long range views. We spent a lot of time on the porch with our furry friend and loved that it was closed off so she could run free.

My family and I really enjoyed our weekend at Grand Panorama. We brought our three college age kids and everyone had plenty of space to enjoy. During our stay we encountered deer and coyotes crossing by. The house is a prefect location to ski Beech Mountain, and restaurants. With a beautiful view of Sugar Mountain. Banner Elk is a short drive for a lovely dinner out and shopping. The property management company is very helpful and easy to reach if needed. We had the wrong code to get into property when we arrived. One quick phone call and it was resolved. Wonderful indoor fireplace and hot tub to relax. If you need a break from everyday life, I would differently recommend staying here.

The property has gorgeous mountain top views. We had a little problem checking in because the code that was provided was incorrect. After a couple phone calls that all went to voicemail, I finally Received a text from blue ridge rental with the correct door code. Our stay was great, however the bottom floor did get chilly at night. Thankfully there were extra blankets and space heaters. Leaving the property was a hassle due to a winter storm dumping 9 inches overnight, which only called for 1-3”. Despite having vehicles with 4 wheel drive, one of our SUVs wasn’t able to make it up the driveway and slide down.. there were shovels and 1 bag of ice in the shed. However the shed was frozen shut and when we were finally able to open it, the key froze in the lock and snapped in half. After 2hrs of shoveling we were able to get all vehicles out of the driveway. Very thankful for the kind neighbors that helped us!! So be mindful of potential snow storms and bring only big trucks! Aside from the driveway issues and the delayed responses from the rental property company, we loved our stay, loved the house, and would definitely stay here again!

Grand Panorama for the win again! March 2022, two years ago, my husband, I, our two 20ish kids and the dog had a wonderful visit during our five days there. We enjoyed the house's fabulous wide view at 4800', visiting Grandfather Mountain, taking mini hikes and long walks with the dog. In the evening we enjoyed cooking together, playing games, watching movies together in the big lower level room, and more.
This year, March 2024, we had another wonderful visit, this time including the boyfriends of our 20's kids (sans the dog). We enjoyed the same amenities, and this time the hot tub was used frequently by the younger people. Grand Panorama is perfect for the six of us, and I want to go back!

Amazing view and outdoor space. Spent most of my stay on the patio. Great outdoor furniture to enjoy the view. Clean linens, bathrooms, and kitchen which matter most. Could put a little more attention to the cleanliness of the couch and furniture. Previous hairs and crumbs left behind. Would recommend this place and also stay again if in the area.

Incredible views of the ridge from 4700+ ft. Easy access. Comfortable with ample room to find your private space and enjoy. We enjoyed the first week of April and had 6" of snow. Beautiful.

Our family (with my husband and our two college age children) had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was a March weekend, and we spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the views and fresh air.
The cabin’s amenities were perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was ample for us to prepare all of our meals even though there were restaurants and takeout nearby. The bathrooms were quite comfortable except the lowest level one which was quirky (too hot or too cold, door didn’t close, shower too cold to use, weird noises coming from it that even carried to the main floor).
The location was an easy access to the towns below, although I was glad to have an AWD. Gas and grocery store were close. I liked that there was a separate driveway to the house which made the road-facing bedroom and bathroom private.
The main level was great for meals, lounging and games, while the lower level was great for movies with popcorn.
Some of the lights didn’t work (very minor), one of the high blinds was broken (impeded the view only from the upper level), and we could have used a roll of paper towels, more toilet paper and more laundry soap than one wash. All minor things.
The views, privacy and cabin would definitely bring us back!

The hot tub, expansive decks (including large covered portion on top level), fireplaces and heaters, televisions and wifi were all the creature comforts needed. 7 inches of snow fell the first night (mid-March) and ill-equipped cars were stuck on the neighborhood road until they were cleared, so be sure you come prepared. I had a 4WD truck with chains and had no trouble. The long, straight (but not too steep) driveway was the perfect sledding course.

I'm overall pleased with our stay. It's just a few minutes away from Beech Mountain Ski Resort and it was well stocked with all the necessary items we needed. It was very cozy and I loved that each bedroom felt like a master suit with the bathroom right beside it. There was plenty of space for my family of 6.

No surprises. Home/view looked just like website. Driveway and stairs steep and you really have to go up the driveway to walk a dog. Everything worked and we enjoyed the indoor fireplace each morning. Nice stay on Beech Mountain.

No surprises. Home/view looked just like website. Driveway and stairs steep and you really have to go up the driveway to walk a dog. Everything worked and we enjoyed the indoor fireplace each morning. Nice stay on Beech Mountain.

Great house & location.
The vaulted covered deck was outstanding and perfect during a few light showers.
The house was clean and well appointed. One critique: the first floor bedroom (right off the kitchen) and bathroom doors stuck so bad they would not latch. A few other doors, including the lowest level sliding door, were also very tight.
We did not enjoy downtown Banner Elk. The quaint plaza you see in pictures has limited parking, is surrounded by loud, busy traffic. And there’s just not much there. Instead, we went closer up to the top of the mountain.

Grand Panorama was exactly that! A fabulous view and a lovely home on a peaceful hill close to Beech Mountain Village and Banner Elk for dining and hiking.

The place looks exactly as I imagined after seeing the pictures. It's a perfect size for 5-6 people. The location is fantastic! It's located in a cute private community and 1 mile from a local store and local restaurants. Banner Elk downtown is only 10 minutes. We loved walking our dog and seeing all the beautifully kept houses. The view was excellent and although it's not obvious from the picture, the hot tub seems to be brand new and actually worked great. We are talking about looking for a weekend in ski season to rent again!

Loved staying at Grand Panorama! The house was immaculate and provided every amenity/convenience we desired. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace, outdoor fire table, and hot tub were easy to operate. We even used the gas grill to cook a big juicy ribeye! My only complaint was the taste/smell of the water on the property. Not enough to deduct any stars from my review though. A whole house water filter/purifier would make it absolutely perfect!! So just bring some bottled water to drink (if you’re a water snob like me ;)). You will love your stay here! Very convenient to Sugar and Beech Mountain ski areas. Lots of hiking trails nearby.
