The sunrise views are amazing for those waking up early enough to watch. The ease of check in and check out made the trip very enjoyable. Awesome stay with awesome views. Lots of snow hit as soon as we got into town, definitely want to have a 4WD vehicle to reach this place if there is inclement weather, as the house is up a pretty steep driveway. Could not have asked for a better weekend here and Lauren was very responsive and helpful. Totally worth the trek, our family absolutely loved this place and hope to revisit some day!!

Christmas week with my four adult children, their spouses and children was perfect. The house met all of our needs, was very comfortable, well stocked, and decorated for Christmas. The location and choices of activities was great especially for grandkids who live in Florida and Thailand. The drive up the mountain was a little scary and I was thankful there wasn't ice. We did enjoy a light dusting of snow. We arrived when it was dark so was amazed in the morning with sunrise views. We all enjoyed our time together and made precious memories in this wonderful home.

We had my husband and myself, a dear family friend and our three children, teir spouses and 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 7 months to 7 years. The house had ample space and was extremely well equipped. They even had toys for the kids! Each of our kids had their own master with private ensuite which was perfect for their families The kitchen was so well stocked and they even had an extra refrigerator in the pantry! It was wonderful!

The host is very friendly and responsive.

The location of this house is perfect for easily getting to ski lodges. The house is also such a wonderful getaway that we all enjoyed staying in and hanging out in the house some too. The home was new, clean, beautiful views, and centrally located for easy travel to Boone, blowing rock and banner elk. The home has a great floor plan for large groups with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. I only have a couple of suggestions that would make a stay here even better. The upper windows in the living area need remote blinds. The sun can be blinding and it’s impossible to watch TV during the day because of the glare from these windows. Also, the lower level could use a coffee table and/or end tables to make this area more usable, and the bunk room is really only good for kids. Very cramped for two adult women with no tables, TV, or lighting. Overall, would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay there again.

Honestly have never stayed at a rental that was so well maintained, stocked and beautiful! My entire family and extended family enjoy the vacation. We had ages 11-84 in our group of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out but come together for big family dinners. The drive up to the house can be a bit daunting but after a few times you get used to it. The views are breathtaking. Loved having coffee in the morning sitting on the deck looking out at the mountains. This is one of the best stocked homes we have rented for our big crew. Lots of dishes and silverware - we tend to cook a lot when we all get together. Some places we go we have to run to the store for salt and pepper. They had tons of spices, coffee filters, k-cups, tea, etc. It was a fantastic experience for our whole family. Thank you, Lauren, for a wonderful stay!

Our family took a ski trip to Appalachian Ski Mountain and this home was perfect. The home is beautiful and very clean. The location is perfect for anyone going skiing/snowboarding. The view is unbelievably breathtaking, and the host was easy to communicate with. My family and I (ranging in ages from 3-50's) all enjoyed our stay and there was ample room for all of us to comfortably stay (there were 10 people total). Thanks for a great stay!

Both this location and Lauren as a host deserve 10 stars. The cabin is very well located and well stocked. The rooms are well distributed and there’s enough room to spend time with the family. Lauren went above and beyond during our stay as we encountered an unexpected delay in getting to the cabin. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location and hope we can book in the future again :)

The house is fantastic. The layout with the open kitchen, living room & dining room with the fantastic view is great. The bedrooms & baths were also well laid out. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our group had a wonderful time in this beautiful mountain get-away.

I can’t say enough good things about this house. It was perfect for our family mountain weekend with ages 1-70. The home had comfortable beds, was spacious, well furnished, excellent location very close to Blowing Rock, breath taking views, and excellent owner communication. We would love to stay here again!

First, the view! Right as you walk through the door, you take in a breathtaking view of mountain vistas through the windows that line the wall ahead of you. Our group loved sitting on the upper-level deck and enjoying that view throughout our stay. Second, the house was clean, nicely decorated and spacious enough for our family group that included 10 people. We were very close to Blowing Rock, so exploring there was easy. Boone was only a tad farther. One note: The road to the house is paved but a very winding, steep climb -- we were glad we had all-wheel drive, although others in our group that didn't have it said they had no problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this house highly.

We spent 4 days at this home with our kids and grandkids. It’s a beautiful home with a lot of space! With so many people it was nice to have the room to spread out. The kitchen is as well stocked , so that made cooking easy! The views from the decks were great! We loved watching the deer eat in the backyard and the three bears that ate daily in the meadow in the distance. Definitely check into staying at this property if you’re looking for a spacious and clean home!

What a wonderful cabin! I could have spent the entire weekend sitting on the deck (views are very high on my priority list when visiting the mountains). Very pretty sunrise views if getting up early is your thing. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking 2 meals in. Beds were comfy, and the kids loved the bunk beds. Easy access to Boone and Blowing Rock.. you can even hear the train at Tweetsie!! (If you are unfamiliar, tweetsie is a little railroad amusement park.. the train only operates during the day during park hours so it is not bothersome during the night) There is plenty of room for multiple cars to park. Would definitely come back.

We rented the house two weeks ago and kept saying "wow" with every room we entered. It was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked, and brilliantly arranged. Two master suites on the main level are perfect for the two oldest generations while the grands and great grands stayed on the lower level in their family suites. We cooked several meals there and had all we needed in the kitchen. Ample supply of paper products and toiletries were a plus as well as various age range toys. We had a question upon arrival and Lauren responded immediately for a quick resolution. Amply parking accommodated our four SUVs and truck. Kiddos playing hide and seek under the beds brought out zero dust bunnies. The only hiccup was flat pillows - but who can anticipate the pillow height desires of all guests?!

Great experience. Very well stocked kitchen and kitchen pantry including miscellaneous food/seasoning and paper products. Loads of room to spread out and relax. Arcade game was a hit. My family and I stayed here for my Father's 80th birthday and had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful and close to Appalachian ski mountain which was very convenient for skiing. The house was very well stocked and had about anything you need. The showers were great and the beds extremely comfortable. We had one minor problem that the owners quickly fixed. They were very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this house if you are looking in the area.

We were a group of 8 and loved staying at Lauren's place. The home felt very spacious and luxurious. It is newly built and it was done beautifully, with attention to detail. The view from the living room was amazing. The furniture in the home was new, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens. Showers had great water pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed - we had most of our meals there. The home was close to town, shopping and App Ski. It seems that if road conditions are good, you can get Instacart delivery to the home! We can't wait to come back and stay there again. The only thing we wish the home had was a hot tub. A note to help future guests: we visited a week after a major snow storm - a 4WD car or chains are a must. The road up to the home is very narrow and steep. The gravel driveway was a challenge in the icy/snow conditions even with 4WD so plan accordingly.

We got up early to watch the sunrise and discovered that you can see the skyline of Charlotte from this house! Amazing! The only negative that I can give this house is that it can be a little challenging to get to in inclement weather. Other than that, I will stay here anytime we go to Boone.

The layout of the house is perfect for a large group and gave the kids their own space while we were upstairs admiring the amazing view! Also the proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock made travel super easy, the kids even went to App Ski for an afternoon since it was so close to the house. My only regret is not finding this gem while my daughter was still in school in Boone! Only suggestion that I could give is adding a full length mirror, with a house full of girls and graduation that was the only item we could have used. If I could give this house more stars I would!!!!

This mountain home offers so much. The brand new furnishings, fully stocked kitchen, beatifically cleaned and decorated space, and gorgeous views made this home better than we thought we had booked. The pictures do not do justice for the space and fresh feel of this home. We are already dreaming about a return! Best mountain house we have ever experienced!!

This mountain home offers so much. The brand new furnishings, fully stocked kitchen, beatifically cleaned and decorated space, and gorgeous views made this home better than we thought we had booked. The pictures do not do justice for the space and fresh feel of this home. We are already dreaming about a return! Best mountain house we have ever experienced!!

We’ve been on the hunt for the perfect mountain getaway in North Carolina: Private, serene, incredible views, with space to cook, socialize, and let our toddler play. This house checked all the boxes and more. The view is incredible from both decks (highly recommend waking up for the sunrise!), the kitchen was fully stocked with supplies for cooking meals, and while the home is in a neighborhood, it still felt like our own little hideaway without anyone else around. The location also can’t be beat, with how close it is to Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. As if that wasn’t enough, Lauren is an incredible host who was quick to answer all our questions and do everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. We can’t rate this house highly enough, and we will 100% be back.

Great home for family or friends, plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Everything looks new and clean and most importantly we'll maintained. If you come with kids keep in mind the yard is a little steep, but the view from the porch is fantastic.

We loved this area. Went on alot of hikes and spent a day whitewater rafting. Will definitely return!

If I could give this home 6 stars I would! Location is amazing - close to everything and yet private with breathtaking views. This house is pristine, furnished beautifully and has a great split bedroom floor-plan with plenty of space to spread out. Large windows bring the gorgeous view inside. The double decks provide enough outdoor space for everyone to have their own quiet getaway spot. While many others were enduring high temps and humidity at the beach we were enjoying the cool mountain breeze! We love this place and are already planning a return trip!

If I could give this home 6 stars I would! Location is amazing - close to everything and yet private with breathtaking views. This house is pristine, furnished beautifully and has a great split bedroom floor-plan with plenty of space to spread out. Large windows bring the gorgeous view inside. The double decks provide enough outdoor space for everyone to have their own quiet getaway spot. While many others were enduring high temps and humidity at the beach we were enjoying the cool mountain breeze! We love this place and are already planning a return trip!

From the first five minutes of our experience in this house my young adult nieces and nephews set out to enjoy the hammocks on the ground deck. For a long time! The view from the house was breathtaking. One thing we all agreed on is that the house is even bigger in real life than the photographs lead you to believe, which is quite a bonus. The house is immaculate and updated with all amenities. The mattresses and couches were so comfortable! The showers had great pressure and we loved them. There was an extra bonus refrigerator and freezer, which we hadn't known about, that proved to be extremely helpful for our family of 12 who cooked most meals in. We cannot say enough about how friendly, helpful and kind Lauren was before, during and after our stay. We had many questions about where to find certain shops in the area, grocery stores, and we took her advice. I scored two beautiful lamps at one of the consignment shops she told us about. She was attentive to every question we had in a timely manner. Oh yes and there were two sets of washer and dryers, one up and one down--another bonus. We loved our week at this house, actually really hated to leave, and hope to come back sometime. It's a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Thank you Lauren.
