We had a wonderful stay at Four Bear Falls in Banner Elk! The location was fantastic—just a short walk to downtown, which made it super easy to take both our child and dog to the nearby park. The house itself was perfect for our group of four adults and a child. The layout was spacious and comfortable, and the kids' room was adorable. The kitchen had plenty of room for cooking and gathering, and we especially loved spending time on the expansive deck. The decor throughout the home was charming and fun—lots of creative bear-themed touches that gave it a cozy mountain vibe. Highly recommend for families or small groups looking for a relaxing getaway close to downtown!

Four Bear Falls in Banner Elk was the perfect place for our holiday weekend ski adventure! BRMR has not disappointed us yet with their rental homes. Four Bear falls was easy to get to, no steep crazy driveway, and felt very secluded even though we were right in town. The beds were comfy and the home is full of mountain cabin charm. Watching the snow fall while sitting by the cozy fireplace was perfection. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

I took my family here for a 4 night stay and absolutely loved it. Everything was functional as listed and very accomodating, all we had to do was grab groceries nearby. We got a light dusting of snow which was perfect for the spacious yard and outdoor fire pit. There was room to let our dog run around (pick up after them as always!) with the boys and the yard is fenced in with an easy swing gate in the driveway (there were a couple damaged spots from Helene in the fence that were being repaired but the brush is so thick it didn't even matter). The house was clean and had everything we needed and the bear cabin bed was awesome for the kids. The rooms and beds were really comfortable and cozy. A couple mornings were too cold to go out first thing, but there's a nice fireplace, large couch, lots of games to play and plenty of deer running around outside too, so that made it really enjoyable even when we got stuck inside. It was sad to see some of the Helene damage in the area but by this time (Dec 2024) every major road we went on was clear and the businesses were very welcoming and operational. I used to live in the area and had heard they were welcoming tourism back and I was happy to see how much progress had been made. The location is perfect too, right in Banner Elk - easy 10 minute trip to Sugar or Beech mtn, nearby gem mining stores, and it took us maybe 35 minutes to cut over to the Tweetsie railroad. There's plenty of adult and kid activities to do and great restaurants all around. I would highly recommend it!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Four Bear Falls. The location is truly unbeatable, offering easy access to both downtown Banner Elk, restaurants, shopping, activities and the ski slopes. It is located off a main road, which proved to be a game-changer during the inclement weather. Navigating through the snow and icy conditions was a breeze. The accommodation itself was very cozy. The owners have done a lovely job with the furnishings & the attention to detail in ensuring guest comfort did not go unnoticed. They have made great use of the layout/space. All of the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the presence of a trundle bed for the twin makes it an excellent choice for a family with small children. The couch was very comfortable and seated everyone (6 people) with room to spare. We also enjoyed the chairs by the fireplace. The rental was well stocked with starter toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, trash bags etc. The kitchen was well very well equipped. Due to the weather we did not use the outdoor space but the yard was large, had ample parking and offered privacy from neighbors. The bathrooms are on the small side but we made it work. There are several steps to access the home, typically not an issue for us, but the inclement weather made them icy/slippery and we had to be very cautious when hauling luggage up and down. In conclusion, this vacation rental seamlessly blends comfort with convenience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an comfortable and relaxing stay in a prime location. Blue Ridge Rentals provided excellent customer service. The entire rental process was easy, they checked in multiple times during our stay & answered any questions in a timely manner. We will definitely be using them again.
