Great place and well equipped. Went up for a last minute weekend ski trip and had a great time. Will definitely book Doe Run again.

Very cozy cabin! Fit our family perfectly and comfortably. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of pretty wildlife like deer & wild turkey. Location was close proximity to several cute towns. Enjoyed our stay!

Excellent location. End of the road with a great fire pit in the valley out front. House setup was great with a master, and two bunk beds. Bathrooms were clean. Would stay again.

My family enjoyed living at the Doe Run Cottage during our stay in Banner Elk. The cottage's serene environment provided early morning coffee with the deer and camp fire star gazing at night. Watching the alluring twinkle of fireflies added to the whimsical atmosphere Doe Run Cottage already provided. The cottage was clean and cozy providing everything you could want or need. We enjoyed many of the restaurants in town. The cottage was close to an abundance of hiking trails, tourist attractions, waterfalls, and tubing. The added bonus of access to all the amenities of the Lodges at Eagles Nest made our days filled with fun and spectacular views. My family could see the toll that Hurricane Helene took in the area especially, the river bank but, it could not take away from the extraordinary beauty of the area truly showing that North Carolina is unmatched in its resiliency and stunning nature. The customer service and communication was outstanding. We highly recommend Doe Run Cottage.

Our stay at Doe Run Cottage was absolutely perfect – such a peaceful and relaxing home! The house is charming and comfortable with everything you need for a restful mountain getaway. Great indoor AND outdoor gathering space, comfortable bedrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen (pots/pans, etc.) if you decide to stay in. The location is excellent – tucked away with a peaceful setting, but still close to the lovely downtown (great restaurant options) with plenty of hiking and wineries nearby. We will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!
