Lovely stay with my family. Perfect Airbnb for kids. My boys loved the little playroom hidden under the stairs. It fit a family of 8 perfectly. This house had everything you could possibly think of. We will be back!

The house was absolutely amazing. The huge front yard and fresh snow made for a picture perfect sledding experience for 4 young children. The locations was central to Beech Mtn and Hawksnest along with Multiple restaurants. But the best was when Blue Ridge sent guys over to plow the driveway and assist us in leaving with all the fresh snow.! Highly recommend and will definitely rebook next year

My family and I stayed at D-Coys Nest over the Christmas holiday. This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this home and we just love it! It truly feels like you are a guest in their personal home, and we love that. It is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. This home has a special place in our heart as we were able to stay here twice with my ailing father before he passed away. So coming back this time for Christmas was really special to our family. And the icing on the cake was that it was decorated so beautifully for Christmas. What an especially nice touch! We will be back again for sure!

D-Coys Nest is a beautiful home with a gorgeous view. Our whole family enjoyed the expansive porches and large den. The location was perfect driving to all of our outings. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer. We walked down to the cottage across the street to see their other piece of property and thought how fabulous for overflow! Will keep that in mind for the future. We had everything we needed for meal preparations, and the bedroom accommodations were perfect!

This property is all it appeared to be and more. The view is lovely (not a huge wide mountain view, but a long view), and the location is excellent. We absolutely LOVED the kitchen. With three couples there, we often had three or four people working in it at once, and it was fine. I have neved rented a home with a better equipped kitchen (the only exception being that there was no Keurig). There were plenty of towels and extra blankets and comforters to keep us dry and toasty. One reviewer mentioned that it was muddy going to the hot tub, but we had no problem at all. The short walk from the back door to the hot tub was grassy -- no dirt to be seen. We only had two small items that we mentioned to property management -- first, the shower upstairs did not drain well (likely just needs the drain cleaned), and, second, the queen bed downstairs has a mattress that rolls two people towards the center. Other than those minor details -- PERFECT! Thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful property with us.

Beautiful home in a heaven-like setting. It was ideal for our family vacation with 2 small girls and 2 dogs. Clean and instantly comfortable and welcoming...we had an amazing stay and will come back again. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals went above and beyond for us to clear out a yellow jacket nest around the hot tub. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at this property, no complaints! Entire house was very clean and had everything we needed.
Extra towels and blankets around the space were a great bonus, all showers had great water pressure and hot water was never an issue. Fireplace was a very nice addition and provided the perfect living room. Any amenities we needed were provided!
Location was definitely a plus as well, with Banner Elk being a short ride as well as Boone. We went on the slopes at Beech throughout the stay, and there were no complaints about the drive (~20 min). Perfectly out of the way, with lots of acreage to walk around and enjoy privacy.
One note as others have mentioned, the hot tub is located off of the main house foundation, so a muddy walk will have to be carefully avoided if it rains. We were able to find a path using the decorative rocks to get to the tub without getting mud tracked, but may be an issue with animals/the less agile.
Overall, this was one of the best places we have found for our yearly trip to this area. Size was spacious, location was great, communication from the host was excellent. All around a great stay!

We had a great time enjoying this house and all it has to offer. The house is huge, tons of living space and common areas for guests. We loved the location, the views, the huge porch and the hot tub. My only suggestion would be to get a cover for the hot tub and maybe a paved on stone path. It was raining quite a bit while we were there so it was very muddy to walk to the hot tub and a cover over too would have been nice. The stove also isn’t that big for being such a big house. Making meals for a large group was a little bit of a struggle. Other than that, this house was great and we really enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful time together! This home is gorgeous and has everything you need! The porches are perfect for enjoying being outside! We made s'mores and hotdogs over the beautiful fire pit as well as relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the stars! Across the street there is a creek and hiking trails near the house that look like logging trails that lead up to a fabulous place to view the mountains! The acreage that this home sits on allows for lots of fun games! I can't not mention how helpful and friendly the Blue Ridge Rental staff were....would definitely love to rent here again!

There were tons of supplies available in the kitchen to enjoy cooking in and plenty of towels, clean linens, etc. for a large amount of guests. The owners are also extremely dog-friendly which we greatly appreciated. The views of the mountains were beautiful and several times we saw anywhere from 3 to 6 deer walking grazing in the front yard. There's a large outdoor patio which made the views even more enjoyable. The location is very convenient to Sugar Mountain, where we would either go ski during the day or go night skiing. The management company was also very responsive to any questions we had. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are considering making this an annual trip given how much fun the group had!

This is the most wonderful vacation home! The views are absolutely breathtaking! The decor is fantastic! Our family made precious memories while visiting. Being only 15 minutes from the slopes made an easy trip for the kids. We will definitely return! Everything was perfect!

we take a family ski trip and decided on beech mtn this trip. loved the village and best atmosphere by far your cabin added to the enjoyment well equipped beautiful décor and the grandbaby loved the kiddie roo space I would recommend it to anyone short drive to slopes (15 min) loved the hot tub and fireplace we did not get to hang out in the outdoor space because of the temperature but it looked awesome.. outdoor fireplace also. I would suggest a path to hotub things were soggy and we worried about bringing it inside ..thanks again kimbrell family/n ga mtns
