We (6 adults) were in town for a family wedding. This was close to the venue and a great place because we each had our own bedroom and bath. The kitchen was well stocked (k-cups were a nice touch), and we enjoyed all the patio furniture, fire pit, and hot tub. The ice maker was not the best so I would encourage you to stop for bags of ice before you get there. I gave it four stars because of the living room furniture. While it is comfortable, there is only space for 5 people. I think this is strange in a house that sleeps 11. There were only 6 of us but we couldn't all watch a movie together. I also gave it 4 stars on location because it's a shame you can't really see the lake. I wonder if trimming the trees up a bit would allow a view, even in summer. The master bed is amazing - super comfy! The master shower lacked in water pressure. The hosts were very responsive and always friendly and helpful. I would recommend this house to others, especially if you're not hanging out inside.

We had an absolutely magical week at Creekside Cabin, and a huge shout out to Trapper who was a guest services rock star! The house was perfect for our crowd and extremely comfortable...from the couches to the linens! Sitting on the deck, you feel like you are up in the trees...plus the fire pit, comfy furniture and extra dining area made it our favorite spot. We will be back to Creekside Cabin every year!

Beautiful home in a lakefront community. We loved the separate living areas and the games for our older kids. Hot tub was a hit as well. We could have used the community pool but did not bring swimsuits. Next time!

The cabin layout was terrific for the whole family (5 adults, 4 kids). Kitchen and living room were open layout, back deck was spacious and another great area for hanging out. Entry and locking up was a cinch with the code provided. One of the best cabins we have booked for our annual family trip!

The cabin was all we had hoped for to create a memorable winter holiday vacation. It was entirely clean and everybody had comfortable room accommodations with enough freshly made beds, plus an outdoor hot tub, smart TVs, games and entertainment for all. It was simply bad luck that the stove/oven stopped working as we were trying to cook a feast for Christmas Eve. Nevertheless, repair service was sent immediately despite the holiday and a solution was presented. At this point, it didn’t matter as everybody had been truly enjoying the cabin stay especially with a ski resort nearby and being able to come home every time to a warm hot tub to soak into. All’s well that ends well! Kudos to The Blue Ridge Rental management and the Airbnb host as they were communicative the entire time for any questions/needs.
For a family with young or grown children wanting to have a completely fun and comfortable winter cabin experience, this place is very highly recommended. It’s also dog-friendly.

This home was absolutely perfect for us! The house was really clean and comfortable. It was so nice to have the fenced in side yard for our pups. It was an easy 20 minute drive to Sugar Mountain Ski slopes and restaurants. We loved the neighborhood and how quiet it was. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the deck and through the windows, as well. Couldn't be happier with our stay! Thank you so much!

The Lakeview House was an amazing place for our annual hiking getaway! Our group of friends have stayed at many places over the years and this was one of our favorites by far. Creekside Cabin at Linville Land Harbor was one of the best stays my family and I have ever had in the mountains! The staff was amazing at answering questions, the house was super clean, it had all the amenities you needed and was a beautiful cabin! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was amazing to cook in! The deck was my favorite place to hang out and look at the beautiful scenic views around. Also we went to the neighborhood park down the road and that was a beautiful place for my littles to play on the playground and take beautiful pictures by the lake. We can not wait to come back here and stay, everything was amazing!

We had some hick ups at check in but they we’re handled pretty quickly, we loved the location as well it was very quiet area and had beautiful views!
Recommend this for anybody looking to go on a trip to sugar mountain, it was about a 15-20 minute drive to the resort and has everything you need in 10 mile radius!

About 75-miles from Asheville NC and 90-min from Linville Gorge / Grandfather Mountain, which are very nice tourist hiking areas.
Cabin was very Clean*. Comfortable. Open floor plan allowed us to really spread out with our mothers and teenagers. Bottom floor had two nicely laid out rooms for the moms, a large master room upstairs and large bonus area below floor 1 for teens. Exactly what we needed for our Spring Break vacation.
(*) Bring Zyrtec or Claritin as the natural vegetation in the area does have pollen, in bloom year round.
Note: Yes—- this is a Pet-friendly AirBnB for Small dogs, which was greatly appreciated (that is a separate charge of $25/ea per day + tax). Outside yard, dog runs have chicken fencing which is about 3-4ft tall. Do not bring a larger dog here.
We brought our crates for nighttime and hiking time, so as to keep them isolated in this trip. Small dogs can have higher anxiety than normal, which should be monitored when away from their typical home environment.

Best Airbnb stay I’ve been to. It is well equipped and nicely furnished. They had everything (lots of shampoo, conditioner, body wash) but only thing missing are salt and pepper. It is in a nice community with a beautiful lake, basketball court including balls, and playground. We would love to come back whenever we are in the area!

We had a wonderful stay. There are so many things nearby that our grandchildren were excited to do and which filled their days. The house is very spacious with three separate levels, giving the adults space on the main and upper levels with kids on the lower level with bedroom, full bath and gaming equipment. The deck was spacious and the canopy kept us very comfortable even in the afternoon sun. Let me also say how comfortable the mattresses were. No problems sleeping on these beds for any of us at all. Great consideration for your guests on that topic alone!
