Great little cabin tucked a in the hillside. Plenty of peace with wildlife all around. Chipmunks are great to watch. Close enough to Tweetsie Railroad to hear the train whistle through the trees. Definitely worth visiting. Clean updated rooms . Host had board game and pool table for entertainment.

It is well equipped throughout and location is perfect for getting to both Blowing Rock and Boone and easy access to the Parkway.
We did have a couple issues but Hunter Coffey was so very helpful in getting these resolved and has followed up with us during our stay as well as after our return home.

Smiles. This was our second stay at Cozy Cottage through Blue Ridge Rentals, and it was every bit as good as the first time. This is a nicely sized two-bedroom cottage for a family or a couple's weekend getaway. It is indeed cozy, quiet, clean, thoughtfully appointed, and exudes warmth. The location is just right. Halfway between Boone and Blowing Rock, secluded but not remote, and not far from Tweetsie Railroad. The only suggestion I had on our first stay was to add a small sign by the road with the cottage name and number (for folks arriving after dark). As I pulled up this time, there it was. A nice sign. That brought a big smile. Responsiveness matters. We have stayed with Blue Ridge Rentals several times now (Ten? Fifteen?), and they are super. We'll be returning.

Erin and I stayed at the Cozy Cottage for three days weekend before last. Overall, we loved it.
The location immediately adjacent to Appalachian Ski Mountain was just beautiful, and was fantastic for accessing Boone, Blowing Rock and/or Tweetsie Railroad. We have stayed in many Blue Ridge Rental properties, but this was the easiest from which to base a stay.
One small improvement would be a low sign with the house number by the road, or a number on the house to make locating the property easier in the dark for late arrivals. Yes, we got in late.
The Cozy Cottage was just what we needed for a nice couples' getaway. We did not use the kid's bedroom with its bunkbeds (just two of us). The rest of the Cottage is nicely done but not overdone. It has the needed essentials and is comfortable. The kitchen is bright, clean, and had what we needed. The living room is comfy, as was the master bedroom. Just a note, there is not an ensuite bathroom, just a family bath off the hall. It worked fine for the two of us. Convenient washer and dryer located in the bathroom as well. The Wi-Fi works well, as does the large screen Smart TV. The deck is large and a great place to enjoy the trees and singing birds. The parking is generous and directly adjacent to the house. Very convenient.
This may not be the flashiest of Blue Ridge Rental properties, nor the one with the most dramatic view, but it is indeed "Cozy" and is a solid value for the money. We really liked it!

it was a great stay and very accessible to the Appalachian ski mountain, though you need transport to get to Boone or Blowing rock. The house was a great space for the family with a very well provisioned kitchen. We did have issues with the fireplace which was attended to within 24 hours... we still had to relight the pilot light 5-6 times a day through the rest of the trip. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds and we were lucky enough to have 1-2 inches of the snow which was a first for the kids.

The cozy cottage was everything we wanted it to be and more! Beautiful sunrise in front of the cabin every morning! It is a very warm, inviting, super clean and beautifully furnished cabin. The cabin is in an established residential area and is very safe. We enjoyed the pack porch in the morning with our coffee and we grilled steaks one night on the gas grill! It was a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!

We used the grill and enjoyed the outdoor deck space! The home was very nice and felt like we were up in the mountains alone. The neighborhood was quiet and the only thing we heard was the Ghost Train at Tweetsie! It was quiet by 10:30PM and brought a little nostalgia back to childhood. Highly recommend this home and would come stay again!

It's wasn't 2-3 minutes when our call was returned and we were granted access immediately.

This is the second time we've rented this property. A cozy space with everything you need for a mountain getaway - proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, and Boone, a remarkably well-appointed kitchen, outdoor spaces including fire pit and back deck for sipping coffee in the woods, and a quiet road in a small neighborhood of homes. You could walk to Appalachian Ski if that's on your docket! When Tweetsie Railroad is open, you can hear the train whistles when you're outside, but they stop around 10 pm and are not disturbing.

This property was perfect for my family of three. It was clean and updated throughout. It was a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed hearing the train from Tweetsie over the mountain. The only suggestion I could offer is having some kind of coverage for the sliding glass door and window on the main door. I like privacy, especially when it gets dark.

This property is adorable. It's just as described on the website. Great outdoor fire pit. Wonderful location next to the Appalachian ski area and downtown blowing rock. Nice porch. Everything was done very well. Cozy Cottage was a great spot! The furnishing and setting for the cabin were very, very nicely done.The owner has obviously spent a great deal of time and thought to making the property very enjoyable for guests.
Our only regret was that we could not stay longer!

We enjoyed our stay and found the cabin to be very comfortable and had everything we needed.
I will say that we found the bed to be firmer than we prefer but that was a minor issue. The cabin was very clean, check in was seamless and the setting is tranquil. It’s a short drive into Blowing Rock and Boone. We would definitely stay there again.

Charming retreat! We have a family of 4, went skiing for the weekend. We loved it! Unique style modern farmhouse decoration. Plenty of light with a nice cross ventilation arrangement, Small but comfortable with no wasted space. Outside gathering space suited with a fire pit and a deck with a propane grill ready for any occasion. Like I said we loved it! And planning to visit again !

Charming retreat! We are a family of 4, went for a skiing weekend! Absolutely loved it! Unique modern farmhouse style, small but comfortable! No wasted space! Outside gathering space suited with a fire pit and an elevated deck with a propane grill! Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

This was the perfect location for a trip to Appalachian Ski Mountain. Host was very responsive and quickly answered all my questions. The house was clean and had great amenities. There are several grocery stores and restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute drive from the property. Google maps shot us about 100 feet short of the property but it wasn't hard to find. Overall a great experience and would stay here again.
