This is one of our favorite cabins! We can't wait to go back. It is well decorated, immaculately clean, and has everything you would need to enjoy your stay. The views are beautiful! My kids loved rolling down the hills and having s'mores. We almost wish we had not planned as many activities bc we wanted to spend more time at the cabin! The hot tub was awesome for my husband and I after putting the kids to bed. 10/10 recommend.

The cabin was spotless. All appliances worked correctly. The one thing that did not work well was the TV trying to get national news and movies that one did not have to pay for in order to continue watching.

We were here for a family wedding and the cabin was great! The ladies were most helpful at check-in with information. Located in a rural subdivision with larger lots so plenty of privacy but still close enough to everything needed. Very clean. Hot tub jets were not very powerful but it was hot and sparkling clean like it should be. Will definitely stay with them again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Country Life. Felt right at home. Myself, my wife, kids, and grandkids all enjoyed the cabin. It was well furnished, nicely decorated, had comfortable furniture and beds. Nice large Smart TV in the living room and another one in the loft upstairs. Hot Tub worked great. Kitchen was nicely furnished. Grill was clean and worked well. We enjoyed seeing the horses behind the house. Plenty of yard for the kids to run around (not very common with most mountain cabins). Only problem was that the ice maker in the refrigerator did not work, but they were waiting on a part to fix it. Easy to get to with no really steep roads. Location was great. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mtn., etc.

Love the chalet, love our time spent, only thing, please since the chalet is so dark, put in more lamps with good light bulbs, also there is no lights in the closets and lamps in bedroom so inadequate. But still loved my time there and will come back with lamps and light bulbs.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Watch some "march madness" the TV worked well. Enough kitchen equipment, silver wear, etc, but not much room to store food. Kitchen table seats 6. Relatively flat side yard. The large field in the pictures belongs to another property and is behind a barbed wire fence. There is a somewhat steep gravel road to access the cabin. What had a great time.

This property is exactly as advertised and the property managers were kind and responsive. Definitely need some 4WD in the winter weather, but we were properly notified and had no trouble. The neighborhood was quiet and the lot was perfect for some sledding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was our 2nd year in a row at Country Life, and we plan to be back year after year. We come for skiing, and we love the location of Valle Crucis and that it keeps us close to downtown Boone while not far from Beech and Sugar. The cabin is homey and cozy. We utilize the kitchen 3 meals a day and spend many hours in the hot tub.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 5! Our boys loved sledding down the hills in the snow and being able to bring our dog along for the trip. The driveway and neighborhood roads were icy, but accessible with 4 wheel drive.

My husband & I, along with our two kids stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving & LOVED it! It was the perfect size for us with three bedrooms & everyone was very comfortable. The location is perfect, only about 5-10 minutes from the heart of Boone yet quiet & peaceful enough to relax. Everything was extremely clean & the property manager couldn’t have been nicer. We will definitely stay again!

Just one complaint the jacuzzi bath tub upstairs when turned on black stuff came out of the ports! Needs to be ran with a cleaner or vinegar maybe because it hasn’t got used! Otherwise everything else was tip top! Enjoyed staying there and would stay again

A couple friends and myself rented the cabin for a weekend of fly fishing in the area and were incredibly happy with the cabin. it was very clean, perfect for our group with plenty of space inside and out, and in a great location close to several rivers and creeks. There are a few other cabins around the "neighborhood" however they are all well spaced out and provide enough privacy from each other to really enjoy the surroundings and your time here. We had a great stay and look forward to staying here in the future as well.

It was delightful to get away from hot Florida this summer. The
log cabin was clean and comfortable!. We loved sitting out on the deck enjoying our morning coffee or our dinner. Very peaceful atmosphere. Location is convenient, between Boone and Banner Elk. Staff was very helpful. Had a great time!

We loved staying - 3 young couples and our dogs. The yard was great for the dogs, there is a horse pasture with horses and a donkey who likes to visit your yard so just a heads up if your dogs may not like larger animals! You do have to pick up and drop off keys at their office a few miles away which is just a minor inconvenience but overall great property close to Boone!

LOVE this cabin so much!! It is modern, yet rustic. The fireplace is a dream! The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, including several slow cookers. The large one looks a little rough, but it cooked just fine. We enjoyed this cabin so much that while we were there, we booked it for July. You cannot go wrong with Valle Crucis Log Cabins. We've stayed with them multiple times and wouldn't consider using anyone else in this area.

This was an excellent cabin and made for a great vacation. The cabin was very neat and clean upon arrival. Had plenty of kitchen wear to support the needs of our guests. The hot tub was in great shape and was very clean with clear instructions on its use. We had snow the night before departure, the next morning the road had already been cleared making for easy departure. Would highly recommend!

We wanted to get away from the heat of Central NC and needed somewhere with space for our dog. This place is wonderful, you are towards the end of a dead end gravel road. The property sits oni'd guess a couple of acres, lots of room for a dog to run without any traffic concerns. The cabin itself is spacious, well equipped and full of facilities such as a hot tub and BBQ. Location is fine, it is about a 15 minute drive into Boone for grocery stores etc. We would absolutely stay again !

Really enjoyed our stay at Country Life. Felt right at home. Myself, my wife, kids, and grandkids all enjoyed the cabin. It was well furnished, nicely decorated, had comfortable furniture and beds. Nice large Smart TV in the living room and another one in the loft upstairs. Hot Tub worked great. Kitchen was nicely furnished. Grill was clean and worked well. We enjoyed seeing the horses behind the house. Plenty of yard for the kids to run around (not very common with most mountain cabins). Only problem was that the ice maker in the refrigerator did not work, but they were waiting on a part to fix it. Easy to get to with no really steep roads. Location was great. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mtn., etc.

Sweet cabin with a horse filled valley view. Comfortable master bedroom with a large window view. Large screen TV was perfect for watching the Masters. Hiking to the top of the nearby mountain was a challenge but enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again.
