Cornerstone

This was a wonderful Airbnb for our trip to Boone! The house was very clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for everyone. There was so much to do at the house, the hot tub, pool table, and back porch made our stay especially fun and relaxing. It was well worth every penny. We’re already hoping to book this same Airbnb again next year or maybe even in the summer! Check-out was also super simple and stress-free.

Everything was great except for the prior guest’s trash not picked up for a few days (isolated in the garage). Additionally, the cleaning crew did not do a great job as there was visible dog hair on the floor. Otherwise, our stay was fantastic.

Such a beautiful,clean, spacious home in a convenient, safe easy road to travel on. We so enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again! Having two big master bed/baths was lovely. Having 4 big nice bathrooms was superb. Every room was beautiful and cozy. I would just make people aware that the “loft” is open so noise and light from the main level are obvious. And while it's great to have a mattress that will raise/adjudst electronically ( a feature rarely seen and really unique) the controller from the main level master also raised the loft bed unexpectedly so getting different frequencies would be helpful! Also- having some “hanging” hooks in the loft would help with clothing . The bunk bed bathroom on the mid level would benefit from some non slip pad on the floor of the tub. So much storage for the kitchen was superb!! The tv room comfort of chairs and quantity was a huge benefit! And having enough space including use of garage forget four cars is really unheard of. Completely recommend this home! Just wonderful! And the spa was probably the nicest quality I've seen from any VRBO. If you had left us a Mr clean scrubby pad I would have wiped the walls of the spa for you! Really a great find overall!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful , comfortable and great layout for 6 people to enjoy together. Loved the comfort of the living room chairs and the beds. FYI- the bed controls are a super feature but the loft and main level master controls are on the same frequency and people got surprised when their bed mattress lifted up unexpectedly. The spa was probably the nicest I've ever had at a rental . The game room/pool table in great shape. The location is exceptional! We felt like we were in a private wooded lot yet a short easy drive down a nicely paved two lane road which made us feel safe! Having room for 3 cars )actually 4 with the garage) was amazing and the parking was level and easy to get around! So many mountain homes don't have that. Such a great amount of kitchen cabinet and pantry space for supplies! The only dishes we might have missed are a few ceramic large serving bowls and martini glasses. The storage was Really helpful so we didn't need to clutter counter space. The back deck with seating, fire table and bbq all looked so inviting. Unfortunately the weather was too cold and wet for us to enjoy it. We went to come back at another time to enjoy it though! Only recommendations might be to add some wall/door hooks in the Loft bedroom and bathrooms for wet towels and clothes, some slip resistant pad in the bathtub and fix the stair lights since the overhead lights are too bright and the portable nightlights are also too bright.

Thank you. The home is lovely and we are enjoying it. It's fabulous to be able to park one car in garage. Lots of pantry and cabinet space. Such comfortable seating and enough for everyone. A couple things that would make it even better… I'm in the loft and it looks like there is a nightlight at the steps but I can't find a switch for it. We moved 2 other nightlights so I can safely find my way to bathroom at night. Having some larger ceramic serving bowls would be great. Having a brew coffee pot would be nice. I see the main hall bath has a closet with shelves which is great- having maybe 6 to 10 hooks to hang things up in the loft would be nice. Can't wait to use the spa and pool table. Hoping the rain will stop so we can use the beautiful deck and gas fire table.

We visited for a function at ASU and the location was wonderful with a less than 10 minute drive (with traffic)! We also visited and shopped in blowing rock - hiked the Moses cone trail and visited the iconic original Mast General store in Valley Crucis and enjoyed the park there as well. House was great and very accommodating. Only request house was not stocked very well in kitchen went renting for week with ten people you tend to cook & clean. Larger pans & little extra paper supplies. Beside that house was great!! (Mgt. note - we have shared this feedback with our housekeeping team to address!)

Great house for multiple families. Two king suites and bunk room were great for two families to stay here. The multiple levels made it very spacious . The house was completely remodeled and everything was brand new! I will be staying here again when we travel to Boone!

We were in town for our daughter's graduation from App State. The extremely convenient location of this beautiful home made it ideal for our busy weekend. It was functionally equipped for us to cook and enjoy just being together as a family. The hubby loved the grilling station! The layout was perfect for our multi-generational needs allowing the grandparents to stay on the main floor! Kudos to the owners on their renovation and beautiful decor choices! It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning at some point!

We loved our stay at Cornerstone. Everything is so well thought out. The adjustable mattress bases in the two larger rooms are a huge bonus (we have one at home and never sleep as well on vacation without it…except here), comfy couches, quiet area. No complaints.

Blue Ridge Rentals was great renting from. Easy and very informative on our rental. Our house was very nice, clean, beds , hot tub! Great neighborhood. It snowed while we were there. Definitely need 4x4 or AWD. House is convenient that you could ski a couple hours and go back and hang out and then go back to ski to midnight blast. Looking forward to next visit.

The home is amazing once you enter the home you'll be greeted by an open floor with vaulted ceiling with rustic chandeliers and lots of windows for full view, an oak dining table, a large kitchen center island and power leather sofa with electronically ignited fire place. The large deck is also a plus since it is very large with outdoor furnitures and gas fire pit. Once we have settled, in our rooms, the bed was very comfy and the bathrooms itself are like a work of art. The game room is a plus since it has pool table that we really like to play, a card table and various board games. The hot tub was also very nice to dip in even during the cold weather. The shortest route to this home has a very steep incline that really needs a 4x4 with a good set of tires. To avoid this steep incline one has to go around on the opposite side of the same road for about 0.2 miles for a smoother ride. It is also better to arrive while there is ample daylight since there are no street lights so that you can familiarize with the area. Other than the arrival issue we encountered everything else in the house is epic.
