Camp Care Free at Eagles Nest

Welcome to Camp Care Free, nestled in the peaceful Springs of Eagles Nest.

This charming single-level home is ideally located less than five minutes from the sports courts and playgrounds at Camp Eagles Nest, and just 15 minutes from Beech Mountain, perfect for skiing, mountain biking, or enjoying local dining.

Step inside to a thoughtfully designed kitchen, where expansive countertops and a large granite island provide plenty of space for meal prep or simply enjoying a glass of wine. The dining table comfortably seats eight, with three additional barstools at the island. The living room invites relaxation with a cozy sofa, loveseat, and plush beanbag chairs gathered around a gas fireplace and a flatscreen TV.

In the left wing of the home, you'll find the spacious primary king ensuite—your private retreat—featuring a TV, ceiling fan, walk-in closet, and direct deck access. The attached bathroom offers double granite vanities, a custom-tiled shower, and a separate water closet for added privacy.

The right wing houses two additional bedrooms and a game room. The queen ensuite includes a TV, ceiling fan, deck access, and a beautifully tiled shower with granite counters. Further down the hall is a fun and functional bunk room with two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds, a TV, and playful touches including a children's teepee. Adjacent is a third full bathroom with a tiled tub/shower combination and granite vanity. The hallway also includes a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

At the end of the hall is the game room—an entertainment haven with a large sectional sofa, mounted TV for movie nights, and an ottoman that opens into a twin sleeper. A dedicated game area features an air hockey table and a built-in counter stocked with board games for hours of fun.

Outside, the Care Free theme continues... the main deck includes rocking chairs to soak in the mountain scenery, a gas grill, and a dining table for eight. Around the corner, near the primary suite, you'll find a covered outdoor lounge area with a sectional and gas fire table—the perfect spot to unwind.

For a classic mountain evening, follow the lit path to the fire pit, ideal for roasting s’mores under the stars. And if the evening air turns crisp, slip into the nearby hot tub and let the mountain breeze and starlit skies melt your cares away.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each

HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)

Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays.  This is strictly enforced. 

 

Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

 Additional Notes:
- This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD/AWD and/or chains required for all mountain homes during times of snow/ice- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. The driveway is gravel with a slight incline.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. 
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- The home has a Ring doorbell camera, and two on the driveway/parking. There are no cameras inside or on the back decks/fire pit/hot tub.
- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
- Guests returning to Camp Care Free may receiving a discount to the rent of 10%, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
