Beautiful place - peaceful and relaxing. West Jefferson - lots of great places to eat - Boondocks, Red Dog, Black Jack's, Just Wing It, Grayson Highlands State Park to see the wild ponies!!! Wish we had gotten a chance to rent a UTV at unseen pass, but their equipment and the weather didn't work out. Thanks for the memories - until next year! We had a wonderful time here. This was a wonderful home. This was our 7th fall for 3 couples renting a mountain home - a different 1 each year. We enjoyed hiking, visiting W. Jefferson and mostly hanging out and telling stories. It was a blessing to de-stress and relax. Thank you for sharing your home.

Such a beautiful place! We love visiting WJ. It's one of our fav places to vaca. Kudos to the cleaning staff. Enjoyed seeing the leaves start changing colors: visiting all the shops in town. Eats at New River Brewery is always a must. Sunday off to Old Barn Winery to hear the "EMBERS" play. Enjoyed the hot tub. Monday - my 72nd birthday - spent relaxing. Blessing to all!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It is just like the pictures. Plenty of room for our family. Porches are wonderful too, and we all loved the hot tub! Host was very helpful and responsive. Our family was would love to come stay here again. The home is very clean and has everything you need to enjoy family time together. We went to Boone, Banner Elk, and Grayson Highland Park while we were here. Peaceful and wonderful stay!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! We had such a great time here, and we enjoyed our weekend as a family - celebrating my son's wedding. We traveled from several places - Monroe, GA, Covington, GA, Greensboro, GA, and Lynchburg, VA! We visited Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Grayson Highlands State Park. Our favorite was the mountain coaster in Banner Elk (also had some great food spots there!) Thank you again - we will be back!

Home is absolutely beautiful, the photos don't do it justice! Loved the speaker system and how it connected throughout the home and hot tub was plus! Everything was clean and had plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking. Extremely steep hill to get to home so if you don't have a car with four-wheel drive it will be tough especially at night since it'll be hard to see the potholes.

Our three-day stay at Buffalo Creek Lodge was amazing! We were able to celebrate a birthday, a college graduation, and Mother's Day. The house is beautiful! There was plenty of room for two families We enjoyed gathering on the deck and a short hike on the property. The staff at Blue Ridge Rentals was very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to plan another getaway.

In town for trail races at Grayson Highlands - 3 families with multiple kids. We enjoyed all the games (pool table, ping pong, board games), hot tub, stocked kitchen. Very clean and cozy. Trail was was super fun/challenging, and enjoyed seeing the ponies. Visited Ashe County Cheese in West Jefferson, which was also a big hit.

Uptown West Jefferson is a really cute, pleasant area. Mountain Outfitters was the best if you like shopping or visiting with the staff! Boone was ok, but too much of a college town for us! I highly recommend checking out downtown Blowing Rock. If you are a sucker for a view, go to Grandfather Mountain!! Breathtaking views! Mast General store in Valle Crucis is worth the drive! Blue Ridge did right by us and the morning of let us know there may have been an issue with the hot tub at this location. They immediately tried to find us other locations they owed at no cost difference; or with a credit.
When nothing was available that checked all our boxes, they made sure they got someone out to fix the hot tub right before our check in.
They were very communicative, the property was very very clean. An insane out of custom furnishings and decor. We wanted a wood cabin feel; and we got it. We're very grateful.

We are from Jacksonville, FL and travel to either TN or NC yearly to spend time in the mountains. This by FAR is the best cabin we have ever stayed. We really love the privacy and the quaint town of West Jefferson. We spent many days popping into the various shops and meeting the town folk. This cabin is so well appointed/stocked that we really didn't need to bring much from home. The kitchen was "amazing" and the trails on the property were an added treat. We travel with our service dog, Emma, and she loved lounging in the driveway/deck soaking up the fresh mountain air. We already booked another trip in March when all our kids/grandkids can come. Thank you!

The directions were perfect, the cabin was spotless and met all of our expectations. Spent a good deal of our time on the deck as well as strolling through West Jefferson. Owner checked in several times which was most appreciated. Beautiful cabin!!

Resort quality feel to everything. Plenty of room for all 9 of us to spread out and enjoy the weekend.
The only negative, which isn't really a negative, is the road up to the house. Make sure you have enough clearance on your car. 🙂

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully appointed cabin! We made it to the top of Mount Jefferson, we hiked the little trail here on the property, we biked the Virginia Creeper Trail, we enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and just wonderful space... West Jefferson and Damascus have some yummy breweries and eats!! Thank you for opening your home to us!

We are originally from Colombia, South America, but moved to USA 24 years ago. This amazing place reminded us a little bit of our native country. The beautiful mountains, the nature, the trails. There is magic and a sense of peace in every corner. We came here to spend some quality time with our extended family that is visiting us from Colombia. Our parents and sister loved this place! We enjoyed family meals, games, s'mores at the fire pit, walks at the trails, a day in downtown West Jefferson (what a beautiful town!) and movies. The cabin was beyond expectations from the beautiful woodwork inside the home to the amazing views surrounding the area. During our stay, we had multiple inches of snow. Which was a nice surprise to wake up to on a Sunday morning. Despite being snowed in, the rental company was super accommodating allowing for late checkout and clearing the roads prior to departure. We can't wait to return! Thank you for opening your home to our family!

We appreciate the way that you supplied all the necessities that we didn’t have to worry about the facility was stopped well the views from every side of the house were amazing. Several of us hiked the trail and the view up there was great also. A couple of the younger ones ran up And down the road to the house more power to them we visited Boone and that was a highlight of the visit. We ate it a couple of the restaurants and ordered pizza from Bobby Ds pizza. It was great thank you for the hospitality hospital.

The Smiths traveled in from North Augusta, South Carolina, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a traditional cabin at Christmas. Wow the stars are so bright here. It’s so nice and quiet, and you can really live in the moment we made a delicious cup of tea and loved the selection.

We took an adventure to West Jefferson town. What a great town one of our favorite shops was the Ash County cheese store. The kids got 1 pound of candy and honeycomb. I found cinnamon honey sticks, which are my favorite with tea. When we got back, we took a much-needed nap then we took family photos on the back deck. The photos are perfect. We are all together and that means so much to us. Beautiful weather Thursday through Saturday was up early Sunday to prep for home it’s rainy and relaxing and a good sendoff. Looks like we beat the snow coming Monday. Thank you for such a wonderful . Beautiful home and beautiful town. Love the Smith and Adams fams

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buffalo Creek Lodge!! We were staying here with our father parentheses father-in-law, who just celebrated his 80th birthday. The vacation was a gift to him, and he couldn’t have been happier and more appreciative. We spent our days sipping coffee by the lovely Open fire road into town both days for walking shopping coffee and yummy donuts afternoons were spent mostly by the fire, watching Hallmark Christmas movies in the hot tub or playing a game of pool. The entire property is just spectacular and we made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Caputo family for the stay at Buffalo Creek Lodge! Love the Alfred family

Our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) loved our time together for thanksgiving at Buffalo Creek Lodge.
The house is beautiful and well-appointed. We've stayed in BRR homes 4x prior, mostly in the Boone, Banner Elk, and Valley Crucis area. This home stands out!
The layout is great for large groups, the big windows let in a ton of natural light and afford awesome views of the valley and neighboring mountain. It's the only place I've ever been excited to wash dishes!
We appreciated the big, private driveway as two of our party had full size trucks with trailers for atvs (the driveway isn't for the faint of heart, 4wd a must if there's any ice or snow).
There are numerous covered decks facing all directions. Tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms are heated, which is a nice touch. It is VERY private, moreso than any home we've found on BRR, which was wonderful. There is private access to a great hiking trail right in the backyard!
We played a lot of ping pong and our 15 month old had the time of her life going up and down the carpeted stairs with grandpop.

The kitchen was stocked perfectly with enough dishware for all 11 of us. The hot tub was a blast and the views were beautiful! Definitely would visit again!!!

We made our annual friends/family trip for a long weekend to get Christmas trees. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was great and furnished the best of any place we have stayed location being secluded was just what we were looking for. We will definitely be back next year.

Awesome hosts— beautiful property and home. My family needed a quick getaway and this provided everything we needed and then some. Instructions were super clear at each step and we always felt at home. We look forward to renting this place (and from Blue Ridge) again!
