Blackberry Creek Cabin

This home is immaculate! Magical is the best way to describe this slice of forest heaven. This upscale cabin offers a therapeutic escape, allowing you to immerse yourself in a chorus of nature. Conveniently located 6 miles from Downtown Blowing Rock this carefully re-purposed tobacco cabin features a blend of beams and stone, complimented by tasteful and modern interior appointments including Australian Cypress floors, stacked stone fireplace, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding forest and meandering creek. Outside are two swimming holes and a rock waterfall contributing to a resort style atmosphere. Wrap around decking offers multiple places for gathering and taking in the sounds, smells and sights of the incredible grounds.

The main level of the house features an upgraded kitchen boasting modern cabinets, solid stone counters, and stainless appliances and is fully stocked with everything you’d need to prepare a tasty meal to enjoy together at the picnic-style dining table. The spacious living room has leather furnishings; exposed beam cathedral ceilings; a 2-story stone woodburning fireplace and a flat screen TV.

Time for bed? Blackberry Creek Cabin offers two beautiful Queen suites, one on each level, and both offer spa-like private ensuite baths with custom tiled showers. Climb the stairs and hidden behind the chimney above the living room is the loft with two twin beds.

Downstairs is another living area with couches, one of which is a full-sized sleeper, a 10-in-1 combination game table that includes foosball and ping pong toppers, some board games, and a 42" flat screen TV and blu ray disc player. Also on this level is the laundry area.

Step out onto the 1500+ sq. ft. deck and covered porches and enjoy the sights and sounds of the peaceful Blackberry Creek rushing along. Relax at the 12-foot sitting bar on the upper deck overlooking the creek. There is a firepit by the stream, along with some Adirondack chairs, and there is a hammock nestled by the stream. The sound of the rushing Blackberry Creek as it flows along is guaranteed to relax your soul. 

This lovely cabin is conveniently located within 15 minutes of Main Street Blowing Rock, which includes wonderful features such as the Glen Burnie Falls hiking trail, public swimming pool, pickleball courts, wonderful shopping, and world-class dining; as well being just a short drive away from all the wonderful snow activities, zip lining, Tweetsie Railroad, Boone Golf club, Blowing Rock Equestrian Preserve, Grandfather Mountain, Tanger Outlet shopping, and everything else the High Country has to offer! But if you choose not to leave the cabin during your getaway, you'll enjoy 1GB fiber-optic internet! ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & RULES

- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small
vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm, and check out is by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions sent by Host (property manager) or entry information will not be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and using their card to pay for it and must be one of the persons staying in the home for the
reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home, and no trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Please note that the owners uses a Ring doorbell cam mounted beside the front door to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home or other outdoor gathering places.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home or requesting an exception to the rule. 

CANCELLATION POLICY
Bookings cancelled with a 30+ day notice will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings cancelled between 15-29 days will receive half of their deposit back. Bookings cancelled with 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless your dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
