Description
Welcome to Bearly a Care!

This updated cabin in the town of Seven Devils is minutes to Hawksnest Tubing and Ziplining and a short drive to Boone, Sugar Mountain, or Grandfather Mountain. The main level features a woodburning fireplace and leather seating, with a mounted flat-screen TV nearby. The kitchen has granite counters and island with stainless steel appliances. The dining table seats up to seven. The hall leads to the queen bedroom with smart TV. Across the hall is the entrance to a full bathroom with shower and jetted tub.
Upstairs is an open loft with seating and a table for checkers or other board games. The queen suite is here with a bathroom that opens to both the bedroom and the loft. Downstairs is ready for action! The owner provides both a pool table and foosball, plus a comfortable sofa and mounted TV. Off of the den is a bedroom with a twin over full bunk plus a matching crib. A third full bath is downstairs with a shower.

Take the exterior door from the den, and the outside steps lead you down to the lower grounds. Here you will find a hot tub on the wooden patio with bench seating around. On the main level, enjoy the night air from the comfort of the screened in porch with seating and a gas grill.

Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
This home is pet friendly for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet. Max of 2 mature, trained dogs, only.
AWD/4WD and potentially chains may be needed in times of snow or ice. The driveway is flat and level with the road, but the town of Seven Devils has steep access up a paved road.
 

Additional notes:

- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. Towels and linens will be provided.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required during times of snow or ice.
- This home is pet friendly for up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with a $25 per day, per dog fee. 
- Firewood for the indoor fireplace may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night plus tax. 
- Returning guests of Bearly A Care may receive a 15% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts to the rent.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions sent by Host (property manager) or entry information will not be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and using their card to pay for it and must be one of the persons staying in the home for the
reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home, and no trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.

We had a great ski weekend with our family. We did a day at Sugar and a day at Beech. This is a great rental for a family, very comfortable with bunk beds. The hot tub was really nice too.

We enjoyed the stay here with family and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking and the grill worked great. We had pool tournaments and a foosball match for the ages! Beautiful views in the morning on the porch were priceless. We definitely recommend this one and will be back.

Bearly-a-care was absolutely stunning and one of the best stays we have had in the mountains! The location is amazing and the details in every inch of the cabin brought smiles to all of our faces, especially the kids! The game room was a HUGE hit with our family. I wanted to also state that the face this place is “pet friendly” should not deter families from booking! We didn't have an animal and the house was pristine and clean - you certainly couldn't tell a pet ever stayed there, kudos to the cleaning team! The hosts were amazing and responsive and we even stayed an extra night! We will 100% book this property again next year. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

What an awesome family vacation! Bearly A Care cabin was absolutely perfect for us. Each bedroom was located on separate floors giving everyone the privacy they wanted. A well stocked kitchen allowed us to do enough cooking in for further relaxation time inside the cozy cabin. The pool and foosball tables were big hits! Thanks again!

Perfect location. Less than 30 minute drive to multiple places. At the base of neighborhood was gas station with food, supplies and inexpensive fire wood. Very comfortable stay, very spacious. We chose the place because it had a crib but ended up being the perfect place.

The game room was awesome - we spent a lot of time playing pool and using the foosball table. It was nice to have an AirBnb that offered these amenities. The upstairs loft area was spacious and a great hang-out spot for our kids and to play family games. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook. The host was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. We enjoyed that the road up to the cabin off the main road was paved. It was a quiet, peaceful area - we saw deer on the property every day. This place is close to the places we wanted to visit too (Hawksnest tubing and the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster). We also appreciated the easy check-in and check-out procedures.

Great cabin with plenty of space for all 7 of us. There were board games, pool and football tables, and checkers. The hot tub was an awesome addition. We did have a few hiccups that were minor but worth noting: outside trash was full so we could hardly fit ours in, the ash bin by the fireplace was over half full already, no hand soap in upstairs bath, and there were some dishes that were put away that were not cleaned well. Overall this was a great stay and we will definitely rent with Blueridge again.
