Me, my husband, and our 9 year old daughter absolutely loved our stay at the Bear Bungalow! We were looking for a peaceful, private place to relax and enjoy nature. The Bear Bungalow didn't disappoint! We loved the bear theme throughout the cottage. The hottub was perfect, and we enjoyed watching the fire in the wood burning fireplace. The host was very responsive to any questions and requests. When we visit Blowing Rock again, the Bear Bungalow is where we will stay! Thank you for such a nice, relaxing weekend. We will be back!

Quiet, feels secluded, even though is actually 1/2 mile from businesses like Food Lion. Well stocked. Having a washer dryer was convenient. The only real downside is the 15 or so stairs to climb from the parking area. You park a full story below the cottage. Nice, otherwise.

The house was extremely clean and presentable. Customer service was quick to respond to a maintenance need with great results. The welcome boxes of items were greatly appreciated and was exactly what we needed. Arrival and departure information was easily accessible and easy to understand. This home is well maintained and cozy. It was a nice weekend getaway for my husband and I. The hot tub was a nice added bonus. The 2 things I would change would be to have a fire pit in the backyard and a working fireplace inside (a gas fireplace would be lovely!). Other than that, it was a very comfortable home with all the amenities needed.

The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything you would need.
If we could have stayed longer we would have.

Would definitely recommend this cabin! It felt a little pricey for the area but we felt that the secluded mountain feel was worth it. Kitchen was well stocked, hot tub was lovely, it was accessible even in the ice and snow! The rental agency was also very easy to contact even late in the evening when we struggled opening the lock box!

Had a great weekend. Location was very convenient to B Rock downtown. Was OK for 2 people, did have another bedroom but would be too small for 4 people IMO. Not a lot of room in bedrooms and single bathroom was small with very minimal counterspace. Again, with just 2 people, was feasible but had to use the other bedroom a lot for storage space.

Our daughter loved the bear decor. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night. The house was clean and well stocked. Seriously--we didn't want to leave! The rental company (not Airbnb) sent a lot of information initially via email but wasn't overbearing--they gave us the necessary info and were available should we need them, but left us to ourselves and check-in was just a lock box at the house (which we prefer). Wonderful, wonderful experience!

The cabin we stayed in was wonderful! It was very nicely decorated, had a nice outside and hot tub! And the bed was so comfortable it makes it hard to sleep on my own bed now! I'd highly recommend.

Hard to find anything to rate this less than a perfect 5 stars. Incredible location close to so much, yet secluded enough to feel like you are lost in the woods. Some neighbors close by, but everyone kept to themselves and it was like we were there alone. The house is perfect for a small group and the hot tub was in great shape and was perfect to have in the snow. Blue Ridge did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect trip. Thanks again!

Cottage is very private with just one rental unit next door. Stayed over Xmas with our first white Xmas in over ten years. Even though we were snowed in on Xmas we had planned ahead an ordered firewood for the week and were well stocked with food we brought with us.

Cabin was located in a great area . Right at tweetsie and tanger outlets. The cabin itself was nice and clean . Having a real wood burning fire place was really a nice setting. Who wants gas logs in a cabin not us..the hot tub was really nice. Neat little back yard. Only thing missing was a fire pit. Would definitely consider coming back!

This cabin was perfect for a weekend retreat. The location is very convenient to both Boone and Blowing Rock. The road there is gravel and a bit bumpy, but most vehicles can make it without any issues. Neighborhood was very quiet, and the cabin is very private even though there are neighbors close by. The hot tub was perfect and the cabin has a brand new gas grill. It's stocked with everything you may need. The backyard is fenced in, but there is no gate to close so plan to walk your pet on a leash. There are no Mountain views at this property, but we didn't miss them- you can drive just a couple minutes in any direction and see plenty of the Blue Ridge. It was a nice, cozy, fully equipped cabin we enjoyed very much.

This was the perfect house for a weekend getaway with our dogs! It's hard to find a house that has a fenced in yard, and will allow us to bring all of our pups. The Bear Bungalow was perfect for us, remarkably clean and provided just the right amount of household supplies. Beautiful landscape views and quiet neighborhood to relax and enjoy the mountain breeze! We will definitely be returning to Bear Bungalow!

We took our small family to this cabin between Christmas and New Years and it was perfect. The Cabin has a great fireplace and tv for movies at night, the hot tub was really nice. The road going to the cabin is gravel for about 100 yards, but really easy to get to and makes it feel more remote than you actually are. We went skiing at App Ski, only about 8 min away and spent a lot of time downtown Blowing Rock, only about 5 min away. It was a trip my family will never forget. Thank you!

The kitchen is well stocked with almost all necessary utensils for cooking (but non-stick pans would have been better). The privacy was a nice surprise, which made evenings in the jacuzzi romantic. TVs in both bedrooms was great for kids while adults enjoy the fireplace. A very relaxing stay.

This cabin is amazing and comfortable! We stayed for 5 days and loved it. It is super clean; the decor is all bears (which I loved) and it even had tasteful fall decor! The king bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on! I don’t know about the guest mattress bc we didn’t use it but these owners thought of everything including wash cloths just for removing makeup! (I always bring my own, but still, very thoughtful). The porches and decks are nice to enjoy porch sitting! We absolutely love this property. If it has a downside at all, the bathroom is small but, super nice with beautiful shiny tile and so clean. The dresser in the master is perfect with lots of room and the closet is full of hangers and they even had a fan!!! (Again, we bring our own) because this is the first time one has been provided!
We would definitely stay here again. It’s a fabulous home to enjoy Blowing Rock!! Thank you so much to all!

This was our first time renting and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals could've made it easier for us. Now we are saying, why haven't we done this before. We were looking for a getaway from Florida’s summer heat. Blowing Rock was perfect. It was almost 20 degrees cooler everyday than home. The cabin is private, surrounded by large rhododendrons and pines. Yet it was a 7 minute drive to Main Street. Cabin is comfortable, cute with bear theme, and has everything we needed for a nice stay. Rental company is very professional and easy to deal with.

It was a wonderful, relaxing place. I was in great need of a mini vacation and with it being my birthday weekend this bungalow could not have been more perfect. This place is perfect for that weekend getaway. It was my birthday and my friend and I enjoyed every minute of this beautiful cabin with it's well stocked kitchen and immaculate interior. The only suggestion I have is that it needs s full length mirror. With Tanger Outlet so close we shopped and had no way to see ourselves in our new clothes. I will be back many, many times!

We stay in the area frequently and loved our visit to Bear Bungalow. It was perfect for 2 people and while simple, was very clean and comfortable. Shower had great water pressure and hot tub was fantastic and also immaculate. Rental company was professional and easy to work with.

This is a favorite for my husband and myself when visiting Blowing Rock. It's private but very close and convenient to downtown Blowing Rock. It's extremely comfortable and well appointed yet simple; perfect for the two of us. The hot tub is wonderful and we love the star gazing (on warmer evenings) from the front porch.

We had a peaceful weekend retreat at Bear Bungalow. The house was close to town but remote enough for some peace and quiet. When we arrived the house was sparkling clean. We used the grill and hot tub on the deck. Our furbaby loved having the deck and fenced in area to roam around. A word caution. The steps are very steep and there is no other way to enter the home other than up the steps.

Bear Bungalow was a pure Heaven on Earth! It was spotless and super cozy! From the convenient location to the fireplace and outdoor hot tub, we could not have asked for anything better! Can't wait to get back in January!

The stay was great at Bear Bungalow. We enjoyed its convenient location to Blowing Rock while still having the feeling of seclusion and privacy. The bungalow was well stocked with what we needed for the weekend! We would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bear Bungalow and found the cabin to meet our needs perfectly! It was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for our small family. My two year old loved the bear decor and we were happy that she had a room to herself. I would recommend this little cabin to anyone visiting the Blowing Rock area.

Out of hundreds of cabin choices, we decided on the Bear Bungalow, offered by Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. This was our first time visiting the Blowing Rock area, and our first experience with BRMR. We were not disappointed at all. Everything about the rental company and the cabin was well done. We only had four days available to us, from Oct 30 thru Nov 2, but it seemed like a perfect time to visit this area. Excellent weather and kind of in-between their tourist seasons. Looking forward to going back again.

We love the Bear Bungalow and have stayed there multiple times. Location is great. Short drive to town. And, my son loves all the bear decor. We love everything about it and appreciate the wi fi connection.
