Office staff helped quickly to find us the perfect house for our family's winter ski Get Away - plus it was dog-friendly - reasonably priced too. The home was very comfortable, roomy, clean, and had everything we needed and very close to Appalachian Mtn. Hot Tub was a bonus !

The house had plenty of space for 3 couples and an infant. Three floors with a bedroom and full bathroom on each floor. Top floor had a queen bed with the main floor and basement had king beds. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms appropriately stocked. There is also a sitting area with a TV on each floor; however no TV in any of the bedrooms. We only used the den on main floor and all furniture was very comfortable. The house was not cluttered and felt very homey. While we did not cook during our weekend stay, the kitchen appeared well stocked. It is a great location, convenient to restaurants and stores with gorgeous views of the mountains. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again next year!!

The views are gorgeous. Loved having the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Aspen view is close to Boone (10 minutes away and close to Blowing Rock (5 minutes away). It was easy to get around and jump on the Blue Ridge Parkway to get to some great hiking trails. The house was as advertised and was very clean. If you plan on cooking, keep in mind that there are no extras in the kitchen (no seasonings, no tin foil, no cooking spray or cooking oil). You will need to make sure you bring all of that. Having said all of that there are plenty of pots/pans and dishes. We were able to use the fire pit one night which was fun to hang around. All around a great experience and I would highly recommend Aspen View.

The home was great for our needs including skiing at App Ski. The views from the decks are amazing. The property was not as clean as we’re used to. There was a lot of dog hair on the floors and couches. The kitchen could use a refresh of all the pots/pans. Overall we enjoyed our stay and made the best of it!

My 3 kids (14, 14, 11) and I loved this rental! We were all working/schooling remotely, and this was the perfect change of scenery for a Sunday-Friday stay!! It was just the 4 of us, but the house could fit 6, maybe 8, comfortably. It was the perfect location for work and school during the day and skiing at App Ski Mountain at night. Only about 10 mins to the ski lodge, only 15 to Blowing Rock and the nearest grocery store. I loved that the roads around the house were not too hilly, and I was able to get in several good walks/runs during the week. It snowed several inches while we were there, but the roads were plowed in a timely manner so I felt comfortable getting down the mountain the next day. Only constructive feedback is that there is no TV on the main level of the house - in fairness, that was shown in the pictures, but still would have been nice to watch a movie on the main level (where all the togetherness happens) with the fireplace. Also, maybe I didn't look hard enough, but couldn't find any scissors. Would definitely rent again!

The property manager was so attentive and helpful in securing a new house quickly. The house was conveniently located between blowing rock and boone which made it so easy to get to things. Aspen View is a very nice home located in a friendly neighborhood. The 3 level home provided great mountain views from the two back decks, a living area, bedroom and bathroom on each floor, a hot tub and a fire pit. It is nicely furnished and although the bathrooms are not updated, they were clean. On our day of arrival we were greeted by a wild turkey in the yard and saw several deer and bunnies which was unexpected for a neighborhood. The residents were so friendly, waving and speaking to us as we took morning strolls. During one of those walks, a resident asked if we had a water problem to which we replied "No" but found out hours later, we had no running water. The incident was not due to a problem with the house itself but was a water issue that affected the whole side of the mountain for several hours. We contacted the rental agency's Maintenance number twice and received a prompt response from someone who was already aware of the situation and advised us on what to do when the water came back on. The only impact on our stay was running the water for awhile to flush out any sediment from the pipes. Since we had water bottles and had picked up food from a local restaurant, there was no inconvenience to our evening. The wifi password was not what was given but we were able to resolve fairly quickly by looking at the back of the router. Overall, a great place to stay if you're not into being isolated in the woods but still want a nice mountain view and local conveniences.

The home was beautiful, cozy and perfect for our group of 8. The beds were comfy and the linens and bathrooms were very clean. Beautiful views from the 2 decks and we could even watch skiing during the day and night at Appalachian Ski Mountain. The location of the home is great as it is very close to Boone and Blowing Rock. There was not a TV in the main level living area but it allowed us all to talk more and laugh together. The pictures were true and do not show a TV there, but there was a large screen in the lower level and a smaller TV in the loft area. The remote controlled gas fireplace made the atmosphere very cozy! Overall, it was a great rental. Only giving 4 stars due to a wine stain on the wall and carpet in one of the bedrooms, probably from a previous renter. After sending a picture to the rental company, they responded immediately and wanted to send someone to clean it. Even with that minor cleanliness issue, we would definitely rent the home again.

Aspen View was a fantastic spot for our group of 9 on a ski weekend. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable. Furnishings and beds are above average. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of skiing. We didn't get to use the fire ring off the lower porch, but I imagine it would be very pleasant most any time of the year. The views from the decks are breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay at Aspen View so much that we'll look for it next time we come to the area.

Thank you Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals! Our group had a great ski weekend at Aspen View! The cabin was exactly as described, nicely cleaned and ready for us when we arrived. Communication prior to arrival was excellent, including directions and contact info. I really liked that we didn't need to check in at the rental office, but were given a security code to unlock the front door; we drove straight to the house and had no troubles of any kind. We will definitely come again when the opportunity rises. Thanks again!

We absolutely loved the house and the view of the ski mountain. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a plus and felt very good after a day of skiing. We had two families and I liked the way the bedrooms were all on a different floor. We are already missing it and will definitely be back!

This wonderful home has given my family the perfect setting for our reunion/retreat. The floor plan is perfect with plenty of space for 8 people and one dog. The deck is fabulous, and the view spectacular. Parking was plentiful as we could easily put 3 cars in the driveway and even had room for a 4th. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and making a birthday cake as well as preparing plenty of food for the World Cup Finals. The bar-b-que worked perfectly and the hot tub was such a treat. A cozy home with plenty of space for us to be together or apart. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We couldn't have asked for more.
