Ascent A-Frame at Calm Ridge Treehouses

This was a top 5 Airbnb experience for my family. The little mountain getaway is beautifully designed situated in a beautiful mountain, forest location, just 20 minutes from downtown Boone. We really enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, hot tub, and fire pit; and while we didn't get to use it, the property also has a grill under the covered patio area!
What really sets this place apart is the VIEW--my gosh, just stunning. Sunrises welcome you every morning, and you have that NC mountain landscape greeting you from nearly every room and from the hot tub. If you need a mountainous nature getaway, this is the place to get!

The home was clean and very cozy! The property is beautiful the other cabin is right next door you could walk up the rock path that connects, if you have a group staying together, renting both cabins. The home has all the amenities you need for a vacation stay. Only 15-20 minutes, of a beautiful drive into town.

This cabin was the perfect weekend away- beautiful location, private but still convenient. Thoughtfully decorated with everything you need to be comfy and cozy. spotlessly clean- everything seemed to be brand new. Beautiful mountain view from the loft bed. Can't wait to stay here again!

This is the perfect getaway if you're looking to escape to the mountains and relax. My wife and I just left our five day stay for our honeymoon. Wow! We had the most incredible stay. The treehouse is adorable and the views are amazing. My kids were already asking to come back before we left. Great distant to town if you want to leave the property. It was so cozy and the best way to unplug and relax. We saw lots of deer during our stay and enjoyed the hottub and fire pit for s'mores! 10/10 experience!

The interiors are warm and inviting, featuring a modern-rustic aesthetic. One standout feature was the cute spiral staircase — compact yet functional, adding character and a bit of whimsy. Both cabins also had sleek electric fireplaces, which gave off great heat and ambiance, perfect for cool mountain evenings. Outside, the amenities really shine. The hot tub was pristine and ideally positioned to take in the view, especially at sunset. There's also a hammock swing that became everyone's favorite spot — perfect for morning coffee or stargazing at night. Altogether, these cabins struck the perfect balance of comfort, charm, and natural beauty. Ideal for a group or two families traveling together — we're already planning our return trip.

If you’re looking for the perfect couple’s getaway in the mountains, I can’t recommend this A-frame cabin in Boone, NC enough! Think woodsy vibes with just the right touch of modern comfort. The cabin itself is just as cute as the photos (if not more!). We spent a weekend here, and it was the ideal mix of cozy, convenient, and romantic. The first thing I loved was the location!!! Boone itself has such a fun and lively vibe with plenty of shops, restaurants, and coffee spots, and the cabin is only a short drive into town.It really gave us the best of both worlds…easy access to everything we needed, while still feeling completely private and secluded! The cabin itself was charming, with all the little details that make a stay feel special. One of the unexpected highlights of our stay was the shower!!! I know it’s a small thing, but the water pressure was AMAZING!!!! It honestly felt like a mini spa session every morning. Even better, the hosts provided full-size pump bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. It was such a thoughtful touch, and the products smelled so great too! Of course, the hot tub is always a great time! Sitting outside in the warm water, surrounded by the crisp mountain air and gorgeous scenery, was just incredible…AND to see the stars at night from those front porch swings was breathtaking! All in all, this adorable cabin was everything we were hoping for…cute, comfortable, and tucked away in just the right spot. 10/10. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we will be coming back!
