The house was very clean and amazing views.. We had Thanksgiving dinner there and the pots and pans were scratched Teflon. I am glad we brought a lot of our own pans. WE did enjoy the house otherwise.

I can't say enough good things about Almost Heaven. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely well kept. There is plenty of entertainment - everything from a pool table to a foosball table to board games and a hot tub. The best part of the house is the balcony where we got to see some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever experienced. It was the perfect family retreat to escape the heat. Would definitely recommend it and hope to stay there again.

It was an amazing stay. The house was perfect for a multi-generational family, had everything we needed and more, and gave us spectacular views every moment of every day. Will be back!

Our group of seven enjoyed a terrific five days at Almost Heaven at Eagles Nest! The property has a great unobstructed view of Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain and down the valley to the west. The home accommodated us all easily (we could have brought that many more!), comfortably and we still had plenty of space to spread out. We can't wait until our next visit, either this fall for the foliage or winter for skiing at Beech Mountain, next door.

A casa é muito bem equipada, confortável, aconchegante, as roupas de cama confortáveis e bem adequadas ao clima, a decoração da casa é muito bonita e acolhedora.
Os chuveiros não funcionam muito bem, a água de vez em quando, acredito q seja qdo alguns estão ligados ao mesmo tempo.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Banner Elk. It was a nice way to get away from the summer heat. Eagles Nest is a quiet and beautiful development. BRMR had the house in immaculate condition when we arrived. During our stay, there was a minor inconvenience that was addressed quickly by BRMR. We look forward to a future visit!

This was by far the nicest, most beautiful and well maintained home we have had the pleasure of renting. The owners have thought of everything. View is amazing and property is just as pictured. Our party of 6 adults and 8 children had an amazing time in spite of rain everyday. Pool, ping-pong, Foosball, games and hot-tub kept us entertained. Absolutely loved the Blackstone....cooked 5 pounds of bacon without getting the kitchen dirty. Grill was great also, cooked 14 filets for Father's Day. Truly a wonderful time. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home.

One of our guests said they think this was the nicest house they ever slept in. The property was immaculate and everything you could ever want in a mountain getaway. We were here for a corporate meeting and everyone was very comfortable and productive.
