We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed this beautiful cabin! Very rustic feeling and it was lovely soaking in the hot tub and then curling up by the fire. This cabin is in a great location to go horseback riding nearby and snow tubing. Our whole family had such a blast and we will remember this trip forever!

Our second time renting Almost Heaven. The cabin was clean and no issue with appliances. Enjoyed the stay and sitting on the porch. They could remove some of the tall shrubs at the corner to enhance the view.

This was a great place for 3 couples to stay for a weekend mountain getaway. Beautiful views-plenty of room to hang out and play cards, close to downtown. Very clean! We enjoyed the hot tub as well. We will definitely be back as this is a yearly getaway for us. Loved everything about it.

The stay was nice, we had hoped for better views but it was a nice place. I would suggest trimming back the overhang onto the deck. It takes up a lot of enjoyable space.

My husband and I spent our 10th anniversary at Almost Heaven, and the name is accurate. The cabin is beautiful as is the view. It was clean and well-stocked with start-up essentials when we arrived. We really loved this cabin and location! Very clean, nice decor, lots of big windows and light, cozy fireplace, and plenty of comfy furniture so our group of 5 could relax in the living room together. We really enjoyed the wrap around deck with rockers and hot tub. The location worked out great, only a 20 minute drive to Banner Elk and Beech Mountain and less than that to Boone. Major plus in the winter that it was close to a main (and flat) road. Last cabin we rented was much further into the mountains and up winding roads and we struggled with that drive in the snow. We didn’t have any issues with the driveway to this cabin either. We would definitely rent here again.

Weekend getaway with 5 adults, 2 dogs and a baby. Clean house, lovely n'hood, homes on about an acre each. Great area. Easy check in and out. The description is accurate. The kitchen has the bare essentials. I wish I'd brought my own knives, a full size cutting board (there are 3 small ones at the property) and food storage. Other than that, we had what we needed in the kitch. I also wish I'd brought some extra towels. Also, theres a broom but no vacuum for the carpet. Other than those few things, this is a nice house, plenty of room for everyone. The deck is fabulous! Nice and roomy. There is only parking for 2 cars here. The proximity to lots of places is good. Beautiful area of NC. Would def recommend.

Enjoyed al fresco dinner on the porch and the hot tub was a great touch too! It was an easy drive to Valley Crucis and other local destinations. The only thing I would change is to add a wood burning fireplace

Couldn't have been happier. Truly came back feeling so refreshed - gorgeous front porch which made having coffee in the morning a treat. Very clean and the bedrooms were perfect for an adult family of 4. Each grown up child got their own individual room and shared a bathroom. The master bedroom was beautiful and had its own bathroom.

This cabin was perfect for our quick getaway during spring break. Nicely decorated, comfy beds, clean, lots of towels for the hot tub, best stocked kitchen ever, lots of space in the great room and bedrooms and pet friendly for our fur babies! Would definitely stay here again. The hot tub was a welcome retreat at the end of the day skiing and hiking. Beautiful balcony was great for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine or morning coffee. Wish we could have spent more time hiking Grandfather Mountain. Only downside was we couldn’t find any balls for the foosball table and Walmart was out. Mgmt was very responsive to any questions we had. 5 stars!

The location is perfect for Boone, Banner Elk, Sugar and Beech. Plenty of choices of restaurants, but many have odd hours and some are seasonal, but, still enough to meet dining needs. I'd advise making dinner plans the first day for the week to avoid the odd hours. Accomodations are very comfortable, but if your wanting a view, this one won't work. Though it is very quite and serene. Fairly priced for what you get. We'd rent it again if/when we return. Oh, and the rental management team is great; easy to contact and quick to respond!!!

Hello. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful the home was that we rented. It was so clean and neat and had all the little details available that one would need. The kitchen was very well supplied and I was very happy to see the Keurig coffee maker! That was a plus! The TVs in bedrooms were a nice treat. We really enjoyed the gas logs! The porch had ample seating to rock or sit and have dinner outside. The master bathroom was very nice also. The area was a super place to walk in the evenings. Well taken care of and maintained. I would highly recommend to others and would come back again!! It was close to mast general area and over yonder but yet far enough away. Thank you for a wonderful family get away with our children before school starts!

Hello. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful the home was that we rented. It was so clean and neat and had all the little details available that one would need. The kitchen was very well supplied and I was very happy to see the Keurig coffee maker! That was a plus! The TVs in bedrooms were a nice treat. We really enjoyed the gas logs! Home was well furnished and clean. The rental process was seamless and all details were covered. We had a great time. You will need a 4 wheel drive in winter months if there is precipitation.

The home was beautiful! Just a fantastic getaway and there's nothing but nice things to say. And wonderful customer service (they sent a tech to turn on hot tub, responded crazy fast to texts)! Very grateful to have stayed for the weekend!

This Cabin sits surrounded by trees giving the illusion you're more into woods than you are. Other homes nearby, but you don't hear or really see them. Beautiful home with all the rustic log cabin feels. Fireplace was definitely used nightly! We Went with Our daughter and her family, so we appreciated the washer/dryer for the Lil grandsons clothes. Clean and spacious with a Huge outdoor deck that wraps around the house opens up the living space amongst the trees. We accidentally left our Grandfather Vineyard wine glasses there, but you should book this Cabin and go there too! We've been going to Boone/Valle Crucis area for many years and this is a top property on our list after our visit. Would book again.

We left Wilmington due to hurricane and school was out. We had to wait on the porch for the cleaning lady to finish for an hour before we could get in. Wonderful stay - worth the wait..
Gorgeous and convenient location. Propane tank was out for grill - they brought a full one the next morning. Half bath toilet was slow flush. Love the house. And neighborhood. Would stay there again.

This cabin has a great layout for groups. The three full bedrooms are just what adults need for a good nights sleep. The deck is very spacious and inviting with five doors for ample uncomplicated access and multiple spots for congregating.

Beautiful décor, very clean and well maintained inside and out. Very private and peaceful! We even had a young buck walk into our yard one evening, beautiful!
