We loved the cabin and all it had to offer. My kids really enjoyed the game room, books, and board games. It's so close to Boone and Blowing Rock. It was a great vacation and my kids are already asking to go back to About Time!

We have been coming to the blue ridge mts for 10 years and must say that It's About Time is the best. Beautiful setting, close to downtown Boone, very clean, enjoyable mountain scenery, fun game room and great communication. Really enjoyed the porch rocking chairs for morning coffee. The drive up the mountain was a a little scary at first, but quickly adapted. Hope to be back next summer.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a visit to App State. The home was rustic and lovely. Definitely should warn everyone of the steep incline to the house. It was scary for a city girl like me! We absolutely loved all the fun games and the hot tub and the view was amazing!

This cabin did not disappoint in any way! It was spacious, provided everything needed, homey, lovely, and easy to make fun memories in. We enjoyed the game room, playing family games provided by the cabin, reading in the nook, relaxing in the hot tub, cooking together in the kitchen, and watching movies (loved the surround sound) with the fireplace providing warmth. We all want to come back again and stay in this cabin! Thank you for providing a home away from home.

The cabin was perfectly nestled back in the woods, central to a lot of places that we were interested in, and had amazing views. The hot tub, fire pit, game room, and loft space with books and games was perfect for my family. We will be renting this cabin in the future.

We loved staying in this beautiful home for Thanksgiving! It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the game room downstairs and my husband and I loved the hot tub just outside the master. Would definitely recommend!

My children and I had a wonderful stay at About Time. The cabin and property was very clean. A Great place to relax with a beautiful view on a huge porch. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The kids and myself had a blast in the basement game room with the arcade games, ping pong, and foosball table. We let our teenage daughter pick out a cabin for us to stay at for our family vacation. We think she did a great job! This cabin is fully furnished with everything you could need or want. It is very clean, well maintained and private. We were close to town, activities, and places to explore. This area provides things to do for all ages. We were especially excited about the games to play in the basement!! We are a super competitive family) The master bed and the remote controlled ceiling fan was amazing!!!! We really need these in our life back home!! The morning wild life got each day started off with a smile. The cute squirrel that ran along the porch and the sweet yard bunny were the best. The shared, gravel driveway entrance can be tricky to maneuver so just giving a quick heads up. This isn't a negative comment I promise, just a FYI for future guests. Thank you again for a wonderful place to stay.

This was our second year vacating at 'About Time' cabin and both times we couldn't have been more pleased. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, very well-maintained, private, beautiful huge porch with multiple rocking chairs and a hot tub looking out over the view, lots of hiking and places to see in the area. There was just everything we could've wanted all in one place. The game rooms and the lower floor are an added bonus for families with a second floor complete with two beautiful bedrooms and bathroom and a little reading nook that was very comfortable. We look forward to coming back frequently as we just love this place so much.

Living room furniture was not the most comfortable but fit the cabin decor. Boone and Blowing Rock close and had a lot of shopping. There was A LOT of traffic on 105 and it was difficult to pull out in to traffic. If you decide to make plans that require reservations, leave extra time for traffic. Even in the summer Boone was very congested.

A beautiful, well maintained cabin. Very spacious, comfortable and the keyless check in/out was a bonus. We loved how peaceful and private the area was. Close to a grocery store, Valle Crucis Mast General Store and many other places to view the mountain beauty. We have already booked again! Highly recommend. The staff were so helpful and always available. Definitely has a steep narrow road up to the cabin which will require 4 wheel drive in inclement weather as noted by the staff.

About Time was a great cabin. Location was ideal, and the cabin itself was the nicest one we have ever stayed in. The view from the porch was beautiful. The only negative for me was the lack of enough towel hooks in the master bathroom. I bought an over the door towel rack and that took care of the problem. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Pros: This house was sweet for our family of 6. The location was very convenient. It was only 15 minutes to the downtown area of Boone! The place was clean and smelled fresh. The hot tub was clean and relaxing! There were games and lots of books and a fun game basement. There was plenty to do in the area which was a plus for us! Cons: The house is a little dated, some of the furnishings were updated but over all dated. The upstairs was pretty warm and we had to use box fans that were in the closets to stay cool upstairs. They only provided 1 towel per person and no extra ones. They had little signs printed for directions and they were all faded and old. The electronics were pretty old but also had Roku so that was nice. The kitchen needed some smaller teaspoons. My children couldn't even fit the spoon in their mouths. Over all had a great vacation and would definitely rent again in this area but probably not this same house again.

All of us are different, some are athletic and prefer to stay active, most are musical and jolly, some are ok with sitting by the fireplace, reading a book or watching TV. This cabin is perfectly planned out for every time of individual. The game area being completely separate from the common area worked out perfect for my family. The gas logs were easy to work and the hot tub was clean and didn't have any problems. Very pleasant. There was a maintenance guy who showed up shortly after we got there checked the hot tub chemicals and even offered to help carry our bags in.

It was a great place to stay. Enjoyed every aspect of the house. A little close to the neighbors but it was not a problem at all.

The property was excellent! Game room was a huge plus and of course the jacuzzi was great. Very clean. We will be coming back again. Your team members were very friendly and professional.
