Parkway Cabin is fantastic winter getaway. Accessible paved driveway that our 4wd handled easily even with ice coverage. My children loved sledding on the property, while the adults relaxed around the fireplace. Definitely planning on returning!

It was a perfect cottage in the woods! Clean, quiet, cozy with modern amenities. The hot tub was a huge bonus that the whole family enjoyed. You feel nestled into a tree lined forest but really are steps away from everything! The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, kitchen fully stocked and they had a Keurig with lots of choices for coffee which was a nice addition. We would definitely stay here again and experience the cuteness of this cottage!

The yard and outside area was absolutely beautiful and extremely well-maintained. We saw three deer even a baby spotted fawn! The hot tub was perfect absolutely no issues, my kids loved it. The inside of the house was extremely well kept for an older home, met the owner who lives behind this rental, no rif raf at this house! Showers were hot and I was able to do all of our laundry before we left! Very easy to get to on and off the parkway very easy to get to Boone blowing rock all of the local attractions. Great experience!

Loved this property! Although not as updated/renovated as other listings, this home is cozy with a lot of character. We loved the large yard with fire pit, swing, & hot tub (especially the kids!). Best part is that it's centrally located to the city, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. You get the mountain experience without being too far from civilization. We would definitely visit this home again!

This was a great stay for us. It's very close to Boone and about 30 minutes from Sugar Mtn. App Mountain is even closer. The house was very clean. The hot tub was a great treat for us. So was the grill. The neighbors and the neighbor's cute dog were also very friendly. We will come back.

We LOVED this cabin. It was the best location we've ever rented and we've been renting for about 10+ years! The cabin really has 3 bedrooms - all spacious and well equipped. We have been staying in the area for 40+ years and this was wonderful. It was just what we were hoping to find. Everything worked and was more than acceptable to all of us. The view from the deck was beautiful - - cool, green and shady most of the day. I ate breakfast outside most mornings. The owners live close by and were very helpful with lots of information about the area. It's not fancy, but we're campers and it was just exactly what we wanted. Good wifi, good cell reception, good TV set up for all those modern things we all "need" to get along today. Great Spa off the deck, Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, well appointed kitchen, great laundry room, air conditioning that kept the inside cool and dry. The house was beautiful and we had a great weekend. The hot tub was especially nice. We briefly spoke to the owner and he was really friendly as well. The parking was a little cramped but other than that everything was wonderful. I would stay here again.

What a perfect place to spend our long, holiday weekend! The cabin is so cozy and the owners, who live nearby, are wonderful! We had planned to eat out each night, but ended up cooking hot dogs and smores at the fire pit one night (which our teenagers LOVED)!! The cabin is convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, so it took us no time to get where we wanted to go. I highly recommend A Parkway Cabin, and as always, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals will be our first choice when it's time to come back!

My wife and I, our 7 year old daughter and 3 year old son truly enjoyed our stay at A Parkway Cabin. The location was terrific because downtown Boone was only about 5-10 minutes away as well as downtown Blowing Rock. We also traveled to the Appalachian Ski Slope (10 minutes), Sugar Mountain (35 minutes), Banner Elk and Beech Mountain (45 minutes). This was perfect for us because of the convenience for shopping and nearby restaurants. The house was exactly as pictured on Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and was perfect for a family getaway. Although it did not snow a lot while we were there, the kids were still able to go sledding one morning right outside the house on the most perfect sledding hill. I was also able to take my kids hiking through the woods around the yard which they loved. We did have the opportunity to meet the owners of this house and they were very gracious, caring and respectful. We were looking for a family house that was safe outside (no cliffs) and was convenient to shopping and restaurants, sledding and sightseeing, but also had all the goodies of being home. This house fit the bill perfect without breaking the bank. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it with confidence.
