5 Bears Cabin

We had a hard time getting into the cabin. It took a couple tries to get in because they gave us the wrong code so we stayed outside for like an hour until we finally got the right code. Overall they did a good job and made sure we were able to get in and accommodated for a later checkout time. It was a great experience overall and we would come again.

This cabin was very clean, beds were comfortable, kids loved the playroom, hot tub, fire pit, wrap around porch was neat too. My Favorite part of 5 Bears Cabin, the location, we ski'd at both Appalachian Ski and Sugar Mountain both were very easily accessible from the cabin. Highway 105 is a much easier/ safer road than Hwy 194. We were able to very conveniently maximize both Banner Elk and Boone. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing place! It was so well decorated and EXACTLY like the photos. The kitchen came fully stocked with all of the gadgets I could need, the instruction booklet was thorough and easy to understand, and everything was beyond perfect! The game room allowed the kids to stay occupied so we could enjoy some peace and quiet too!
Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Looking forward to another visit next year!

We had a wonderful time with our family. The cabin was decorated for Christmas, lots of games, pool table which the grandkids loved, and lots of room to spread out and have some privacy . The beds were comfortable. We made a fire most nights and enjoyed time sipping on hot chocolate and laughing with the family. The hot tub was wonderful on the chilly nights. The cabin was private but the towns were close by with many restaurants and activities. We skied Beech mountain and did snow tubing at Jones Ridge(fun!!). Both Sugar Mountain and Beech were with 20-30 min. Also, if renting equipment, I highly recommend The Ski Shack!! New equipment, prices half what the resort charged, and friendly staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!

This is our third time renting with BRMR and we love it. It is always such an ease. We have stayed in two different cabins, Bridgepoint and 6 Bears and they are both amazing. Love working with BRMB it makes the trip seem so seamless. Pictures of both! 6 Bears this time was our favorite but loved how the Watauga River ran through the front yard of the previous cabin!

Excellent location for a laid back mountain trip! The cabin had everything we needed for our stay, plus more. The games and hot tub were great, the cabin was spacious enough for 3 couples and our pups, and the location was private, but still close to town. Highly recommend this cabin!

Dogs and kids had a great time in this cabin. 7 year old loved the games provided that were upstairs and in the basement.

Hidden Hideaway is a beautiful, quiet place. It is secluded, yet has all the amenities an active multi-generational family desires: games, hot tub, grill, modern appliances, a playroom for the kiddos and plenty of tvs. Our family totally enjoyed our stay.

Hosts were helpful as we needed them and each day we came back to the house it got better as far as the drive up to it! I definitely would recommend to families! Thanks guys!

The location of this charming cabin is hard to beat if you want to explore the area. 10-20 min from downtown Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock. 7 min drive to nearest grocery store, 3 min from original Mast General. Everything was sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities provided for every need. We brought our dog (his first time on a trip with us), and really appreciated that the porch can be completely enclosed with latched gates. This would have also given me peace of mind when my kids were smaller. So nice to be able to relax on the huge, wrap around porch without worry of anyone venturing away from the house! Hosts were very accommodating! Quick responses, and great suggestions for nearby hikes. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay at this mountain cabin! Quick ride to banner elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. Highly recommend this wonderful escape to others. Especially if you like pool (billiards) and relaxing in a hot tub after conquering a long hike!

We just returned from a great stay at Dawson’s Peak. The house was absolutely beautiful. There were six of us and we all had plenty of space and privacy when needed. The hot tub and pool table added to our wonderful time. We will definitely be returning when we come back to the mountains. Thank you for a perfect vacation!
