The house was a perfect place to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The large living spaces, both inside and outside, allowed for wonderful “family time”. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the large kitchen table allowed us to enjoy meals and play games! The staff at Blue Ridge Rentals were GREAT! I would not hesitate to rent with them again!

The cabin was absolutely as advertised. The view was beautiful. Perfect sunrise vistas. Close to Boone, Appalachian State and a great park that our dogs loved walking in each day. We will definitely come back. The home was even thoughtfully decorated for fall and it's apparent the it is loved by the owners.

Three generations of our family just had a wonderful vacation at 1 Sublime View. We were so impressed with the view of the beautiful mountains, the space for all of us and the easy access to the house. From the house we had a short drive to Boone and the Parkway access was just down the road. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Perfect getaway
Our family group of 7 had a wonderful stay. The view was amazing and we spent the first day just sitting on the deck soaking it in. Close to Boone/Banner Elk as well as hiking excursions. Kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed.

Great cabin and amazing view in a super convenient location. We had 3 couples, a baby, and our little dog and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, ping pong, family game nights, and most of all the beautiful view from the most perfect deck. There is a tabletop highchair and baby gate for the stairs & our granddaughter loved the toy selection! Everyone enjoyed feeding the birds on the deck. The feeders are also enjoyed by the most adorable, harmless, resident raccoon who made a nightly appearance on the deck after we went inside. We saw deer crossing the backyard a few mornings too. The owners really thought of everything. The beds were comfy and the super comfy reclining sofas are perfect for watching a movie, reading or a nap. We will definitely return to Sublime View.

This property was perfect for my family. Most mountain properties has a lot of stairs and this one only had a small step to get into the property. But, everyone's favorite part of this lovely property was the back deck with its incredible views. We found ourselves out there again and again, rain or shine, even at night to see all the stars. The location was perfect for excursions into Blowing Rock and Boone, with easy access to both the Parkway and Hwy 421. We found Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals to be so easy to work with, answering all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. This cabin was spacious, well stocked, and had a breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It had plenty of space for three separate families (one family of 6, one set of grandparents, and one eternal bachelor) to both spend quality time together and enjoy time apart when needed. The deck was our favorite hang-out spot and we loved feeding the birds and hummingbirds.
Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was wonderful to work with. As usual, the cabin was well-stocked with a Keurig, towels, linens, and starter kits of soaps/sponges/detergent. There was a yellow jacket nest under the deck which resulted in a couple of stings, but it was knocked down by an exterminator within hours of reporting the issue to management.
Thank you for a wonderful vacation! We are so excited to return to this cabin again in the near future, and continue to vacation through Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals.

We had a really nice stay at this beautiful home in the mountains. We were 3 couples and found it hard to find a home with 3 bedrooms that had beds large enough for each couple. This home has 2 bedrooms with king beds and one with 2 queens, as well as an additional bedroom that could sleep even more guests. It was the perfect size for us. The view from the back balcony was amazing. We got to see some specular sunrises. We also really enjoyed the gas fireplace in the upstairs living room and the outside firepit and hot tub. I would definitely recommend this home.

Thank you for offering your beautiful home to us! We had the most amazing time as a family. One daughter in from CA, one with my new grandson and my daughter who is attending App in her Junior year! We loved the view, hot tub, games, wonderfully stocked kitchen, etc. You've thought of so many details including the fall decor and snacks - WE WILL BE BACK! Firepit was so much fun! We understand the WiFi can't be amazing in your beautiful home but that would be one thing to try to improve. My daughter works virtually and my other daughter couldn't get online to do her homework...not complaining because we love to unplug!! Thank you again - we will see y'all again! *(Note from BRMR: The home is scheduled to have faster internet installed by the end of 2023!)*

Living in Germany away from our family and kids is difficult at times, so when we make it to the states we like to ensure we make the most out of that time spent during visits. This house and property was PERFECT for us all to come together and enjoy that time. Our oldest child graduated from App State over the weekend so the house provided plenty of space for us to enjoy each other along with plenty of activities at the house and nearby Boone. This home had everything we needed for a fantastic 4day weekend with 5 friends. The listing is accurate that you cannot use the wifi for streaming, but we were able to call/text/email/post without issues. They have a DVD player in both upstairs/downstairs living rooms and they have all many movies channels (HBO, etc) on their TV subscription. The kitchen had everything we could want and more. Unloading/Packing your car is a BREEZE cuz you can pull up right to front door and kitchen is right when you walk in - huge bonus! There are only 2 small steps up from driveway into the house and with 2 bedrooms/bathrooms, Kitchen, Dining, Living Room and Laundry all on the main floor means this is an accessible home for those who need it. Bathrooms were all roomy and very nice. The bedrooms were beautiful and all 4 have the same amazing view you see out the living rooms. Each bedroom also has little sitting area out on the shared decks so they are semi-private from the other rooms. The whole back and sides of the house were private with woods. Driveway is where the firepit is next to woods and that was great with only glimpses of 2 other houses possible. Many super comfy chairs around the firepit and we took advantage of buying firewood through them to have ready. Well worth the cost as you should only be burning local wood. Plus the inside downstairs fireplace is wood burning while upstairs is gas. This is our 2nd year renting a mountain cabin from VRBO with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals company and their service is excellent. They provided all the info needed prior, answered email questions within 1day, and the home was in perfect condition when we got there. We were there during Hurricane Ian and lost power for only 1hr but were able to speak to maintenance live and they called in the outage and provided us estimate restoration time. The place also had lots of candles for us to use. They also checked back on us the next morning. Couldn't have been an easier or smoother process from start to finish and we had a fantastic time!!

The house was very clean and comfy and the view was layer upon layer upon layer of blue mountains as far as the eye could see. The fall foliage was magnificent. What a remarkable property! The view was amazing - truly SUBLIME! We travelled with our two daughters and three grandchildren to this incredible location. The view took our breath away when we first entered the front door. The bedrooms all had great mountain views which we all enjoyed waking up to each morning. It was sparkling clean - one of our daughters owns a cleaning company and she was very impressed with the cleanliness details. We all enjoy cooking so the kitchen is extremely important to our family. We can honestly say that this was the best equipped kitchen of all of the rental properties we have been in! It was a pleasure cooking our evening meals overlooking that fantastic mountain view! The porches were the length of the home and had more than enough chairs for all of us. If you want a true mountain get away this is it! It is not a place to sit and get on the internet or be on your cell phone, however its great for engaging in friend/family communication. It was great to not be tied to our devices (us or the kids)! The game room was great since they had the ping pong and foosball to play then plug in a dvd to watch right before bed. After polling each of us said we would like to rate it higher than five stars!

It was great to not be tied to our devices (us or the kids)! The game room was great since they had the ping pong and foosball to play then plug in a dvd to watch right before bed. After polling each of us said we would like to rate it higher than five stars!

What a remarkable property! The view was amazing - truly SUBLIME!
We travelled with our two daughters and three grandchildren to this incredible location. The view took our breath away when we first entered the front door. The bedrooms all had great mountain views which we all enjoyed waking up to each morning. It was sparkling clean - one of our daughters owns a cleaning company and she was very impressed with the cleanliness details.
We all enjoy cooking so the kitchen is extremely important to our family. We can honestly say that this was the best equipped kitchen of all of the rental properties we have been in! It was a pleasure cooking our evening meals overlooking that fantastic mountain view!
The porches were the length of the home and had more than enough chairs for all of us. If you want a true mountain get away this is it! It is not a place to sit and get on the internet or be on your cell phone, however its great for engaging in friend/family communication. It was great to not be tied to our devices (us or the kids)! Our girls trip was nothing short of being amazing! The location was wonderful and the views were perfect no matter what room you were in. Icing on the cake was that it snowed our entire visit. As recommended, 4W or AWD made life easier getting around. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming without at least 1 vehicle that has it! The kitchen was perfect for preparation and fellowship. The cook doesn't miss a thing while overlooking the living room and other guest!. We'll definitely return

Recently vacationed at 1 Sublime View in Deep Gap, NC and had a fabulous time. The house was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views. Everything in the house was very comfortable (including bunk beds). This was the 1st place that we have stayed that actually had everything we needed! Will definitely be returning to this house. Was also able to check in a little early as we arrived a little sooner than expected.

We stayed at 1 Sublime View and it was just that. The view was gorgeous and the house was so much more than we expected. We had 5 girls under the age of ten with us that all slept in the bunk bed room and absolutely loved it. We especially loved that the house was decorated for the holidays with it's snowman tree and wreath above the fireplace. We are already planning our stay for next year!

We had a great weekend and this cabin was in the perfect spot. Close enough to Boone that our commute on gameday was quick and painless, but far enough out of town that you feel like you are out in the woods by yourself. The layout was perfect for our group of 10 and every bedroom had direct access to the back porches, which was really cool. Plenty of living space for everyone to lounge and plenty of sleeping space to allow privacy and serenity. As you can tell from the photos displayed with this listing...the view is highlight of this property. Do yourself a favor and keep the blinds open when you go to sleep so you wake up to a breathtaking sunrise. It is quite a sight. Great house, great weekend.

Awesome view, close proximity to Boone, very kid friendly...overall excellent choice and enough room for 3 families including 9 kids...the fire pit was a hit for s’mores. We plan to make this an annual trip going forward.

Cabin has an updated interior and large living room with 2 story windows for lots of natural light. The views are beautiful from the interior and deck. Bonus - lots of games to play on the lower level.
