This is a cozy, well appointed cabin getaway. Nice linens and and blankets Each of three very roomy bedrooms has their own bathroom and tv. Loved the hot tub! However, one downstairs tv did not work - no internet connection. Cozy living room with beautiful fireplace, however it would have been helpful to know they leave the flue open. Management has customer service available any time.
The location is great. Cabin is central to many destinations such as Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, Grandfather Mountain and Boone. All must sees. We will definitely come back !

Our family had a wonderful time. The cabin is beautiful along with the surrounding scenery! Super private,check-in was great and communication with the rental company was easy and quick. I would recommend bringing some cleaning supplies, we could not find any. Two items we really needed were cleaner for the kitchen after cooking, and a brillo pad for scrubbing the pots. Love that they allow pets, we had our Golden Retriever. They even left bowls out for him. We highly recommend! it!

We love staying at this property. This is our 4th year staying here for an App State football weekend. It's unique to find a 3 bed/3 bath. Perfectly situated at the end of a dirt driveway, beautiful views, hot tub and fire pit area. Convenient 20 min drive into Boone but easy to head back down 421 to head home and avoid traffic. We always stop by the Todd Mercantile to get a sweet treat from the bakery.

We enjoyed this cabin. The view from the porch and the hot tub were fantastic.
The beds could use a little TLC as far as comfort. They were clean but could use a mattress pad or egg crate.
There are 3 bedrooms with bathrooms so that’s a plus and they give you a great starter kit for amenities such as trash bags etc.
Overall.. we loved our stay!

This was a weekend getaway with friends and it was wonderful. The cabin is very quaint and had everything we needed - great selection of cookware, dishes, towels, etc. The view was incredible and while it wasn't far from town, it felt very secluded and private. I would definitely stay there again!

Have had many wonderful experiences booking with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. Reservations are easy, hardest part is choosing which property 😊 But each one has been, nice with stocked kitchens, comfortable furniture and beds. This stay was at 1 Relaxing Place, which had beautiful landscaping, forest and mountain views, to have both was a 1st for us and very much enjoyed. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. Deer sightings in back yard most days and even while walking the pup. Always a terrific experience booking thru Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, already looking forward to the next visit⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The cabin was absolutely picturesque. When we first pulled up, we knew we were in for a great stay. The yard was manicured, the front porch welcoming and the views were spectacular. Upon entering, the cabin was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit is where we spent our evenings, soaking in the mountain views and stars.

Can't beat the view! Cozy, relaxing and very private. We enjoyed the fireplace and fire pit as the place was a little drafty. Beautiful cabin, well laid out design. The kitchen was easy to use and all you can see is trees from every single window! My only complaint was the water temperature while taking a shower. As someone who does not like to be cold, the shower in the master bedroom was much to be desired. Dinky little faucet/head and basically lukewarm temp while bathing. Not to sound dramatic, but I would immediately get in the hot tub to warm up after!
Overall, this place was magical, plenty of blankets/bedding. Well furnished and just a delightful experience.

My family and I loved this stay! It is about 20 minutes to town (Boone). The cabin is private and, as you can see from the photos, is positioned to have a truly amazing view. We loved watching the sunset over the mountain on the patio. We also loved using the fire pit and there was firewood aplenty! Would definitely stay again!

This cabin was the perfect get away. It was as described on the website. The drive to the cabin was easy. It is about 15 minutes from Boone so it's close to town but far enough that you are in the mountains with a beautiful view. There are three steps into the cabin. The master bedroom and bath is on the main level. The bottom level has two bedrooms each with a bathroom and the washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies. The best parts are the back porch with plenty of seating and a beautiful Mountain View and the fire pit with plenty of seating and a view of the mountains. I had coffee on the back porch every day while enjoying the view. You can never get tired of that view! It was a wonderful stay at this cabin and would definitely stay here again if I return to this part of NC.

Our stay was really nice ! Cabin was extremely accommodating for our families, soo cozy!! All in all everything was great. The location was very quiet and the hot tub was awesome! Such beautiful views. Indoor/outdoor fires kept is nice and warm. The cabin was as pictured, The kitchen/bathrooms were very clean. Not trying to complain at all, but just wanted to bring this to your attention, it appeared some of the sheets / comforters were not clean upon arrival, had some wet tinged marks and a lot of (guessing) dog hair on bed blankets. We just rewashed so it wasn’t a huge deal to us, but to others it might be. We definitely will be coming back ! Thanks 😊

This house was amazing it was in a quiet, secluded area with a wonderful mountain view! It looked exactly like the pictures if not better. Only a few minutes to Boone, blowing rock, or west Jefferson! Plenty of room, we didn’t even use the second level that had 2 extra bedrooms and bathrooms. The hot tub was our favorite it was very clean and facing the mountain was very relaxing. Very pet friendly my spouse and our two dogs loved it and will definitely be back!

My family stayed at 1 Relaxing Place for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well-stocked so that we had no problems making our Thanksgiving meal there and hosting our local family members for dinner. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the bathrooms sufficient. The cabin was secluded enough to feel like we were "getting away" but close enough to Boone and blowing rock that it was not a problem to run to the grocery, go for hikes, and enjoy local restaurants. I'm very Type A and tend to pack everything but the kitchen sink for our cabin getaways - except it wasn't needed for this trip! Everything was already there! We were extremely impressed. Spices, good knives, plenty of cups and utensils. There were even glasses chilling in the freezer. 🍻 They provided larger towels for the hot tub. A first aid kit, a measuring tape, space heater, a box fan and even bowls for pet food and water. ❤️
The cabin is secluded and private, but wasn't hard to get to. The parking is gravel, but the driveway isn't overly steep.
The master bedroom is comfortable and has plenty of drawer and closet space. My only complaint is it's a little dark in there, which is great for sleeping, but hard when you're trying to pack.
The check-in process was very easy. Our code didn't work at first, but a quick call to the office and a new code got us right in with no further issues.
The view out back is stunning. We spent most of our time out there. We can't wait to come back!

View is spectacular, hotub was wonderful, loved the fireplace. There isn't a thing they didn't think of in the house that you may need! Attention needs to be given to cleaning under furniture and ceiling fans.

Had my daughter and her bridesmaids here for the weekend for her bachelorette "party". The accommodations were wonderful. The view was amazing as were the hot tub and the fire pit area. We used and enjoyed every aspect of the property. Was very clean and nicely equip! Accommodations were perfect.

Great location, close to Boone but don't have to go through town to get here. Very private at the end of a gravel road and a great place to bring dogs. Beautiful sunrise views over the mountains in the morning and overall the cabin is clean and perfect for a getaway!! Absolutely can't wait to stay here again!
