Great place in very close proximity to the Appalachian Ski Mountain. Place was as described in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend for ski trips or excursions otherwise into the mountains and Boone/Blowing Rock. Very responsive hosts.

We always thoroughly enjoy our time at 1 beautiful view. The location can't be beat, centrally located, yet perched in a quiet relaxing neighborhood. The deck offers wonderful views from both the uncovered and covered portions while our pup enjoys lying in the sun at our feet. Fun was had playing pool, games, and puzzling. We have stayed here multiples times and always look forward to returning. Also, shout out to Amy! She is always kind, knowledgeable, and quick with resolving any problems. Graham was friendly and efficient with fixing our internet problem too! Thank you so much BRMR!

We enjoyed a quick 4 night stay just before the Christmas holiday. It had just snowed, so it was quite magical and the indoor gas fireplace came in so handy as we made Christmas cookies! The beds were very comfortable and the jacuzzi was delightful (although it did start to smell “off” on our 3rd day). Conveniently located and we enjoyed both Boone and Blowing Rock and even got a ski day in. Perfect little getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at 1 Beautiful View. The view is gorgeous, even in the winter. The cabin was clean, well furnished, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked. This was our first stay on App Ski Mtn as we normally stay further into Blowing Rock in more secluded areas. We loved the convenience of this location. Our favorite restaurants, shopping areas, and hiking were so close and convenient. There are homes nearby but the decking is private and you really don't see anyone unless you want to. We met some very nice full-time residents while out walking our dog. The cabin was perfect for two couples with two living areas and would accommodate two children comfortably. The basement pool table was lots of fun. Lots of wildlife and deer a bedded down by a large rock in the backyard. We've booked with Blue Ridge Rentals since 2015 and always have received wonderful customer service. We had a small issue with the automated locking system which was rectified in minutes. We'll definitely book this property again soon!

We had a wonderful time at 1 Beautiful View! Everything was perfect - the views, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, firepit, pool table, and hot tub all contributed to a great weekend. I will say that the location was probably the biggest draw! It's literally 9 minutes from Boone and about 12-15 min from Blowing Rock. It's also a very short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We have stayed at remote Boone cabins where it took 30 minutes to get to the nearest grocery store. That may appeal to some people, but we loved being able to get to restaurants and stores in no time while still feeling very secluded and cozy. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect cozy and comfortable home. I loved the view and amenities. The property management company is very responsive and helpful. Only downsides were that in a tropical storm, we couldn’t get in because the wrong code was provided. However, the property management company was quick and helpful with getting us in. The towels all smelled of mildew and it would be nice to have fresh towels. Finally, the hot water only supported one person showering and by the time the third person of the day got in the shower it was freezing. Overall, I loved the property and would recommend, but think hot water and clean towels would go a long way. I believe the code might have been a one off issue.

The view from the house is beautiful. The combination family room and dining room is filled with light from the wall of windows overlooking the mountains. We liked the location of the house between Blowing Rock and Boone and being close to the Bass Lake and Trout Lake trails. The property manager immediately responded to an issue and resolved it.

One Beautiful View definitely lived up to its name. The accommodations were excellent. My daughter and I so enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were so comfortable and the views were magnificent. The neighborhood location was perfect between Blowing Rock and Boone. The only thing I think needs attention is the upstairs shower head. The water sprayed everywhere and couldn’t adjust it. Also the light fixture in the upstairs master water closet needs to be cleaned, full of bugs. Look forward to staying there again in the future.

Was a great stay…Everything was nice except all the toilet seats were loose and sliding all over… I think they need replaced and the master bedroom bed has two foam toppers on the mattress which were way too soft so we had to take one off of the bed so we could sleep on it….seems like they need a new bed in the master… Other than that everything was great hot tub was good fireplace worked great and we enjoyed it very much

This house is lovely and very comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch (main floor) and looking out at the views. We never used the lower porch, preferring to sit on the upper one so we could look at the view. We ate outside, played games outside and just sat outside looking at the view, also getting in a bit of bird watching, my favorite thing. We did not cook in the kitchen but chose to get take out or dine in at local restaurants, which were all very good. This is a great house to stay at if you want a peaceful, quiet place to relax in!

Check in process was a breeze. On the first night we found out a previous guest had turned the gas line to the fireplace off. Maintenance had us up and running again in about an hour. The house was spotless and the neighborhood was cute and quiet.

Exceptionally clean, easy check-in and out, and minutes to Tweetsie and Blowing Rock. Beautiful sunrises! Was a bit surprised to find it in a neighborhood of cabins quite close together, as we were expecting something more remote. But still peaceful, quiet, and serene. My family and I had an amazing memory making experience. We loved the house and how we didn't have to deal with any other human beings lol. We were snowed in and especially enjoyed the hot tub. I couldn't get my husband out of the man cave! I really liked how they had everything we needed in the house (other than food and laundry detergent) i didn't even think to bring cook ware. They even had a propane tank for us.
