We just got back to Raleigh and miss Blowing Rock already. That house was just fantastic. Honestly with the occasional trip to the store and one dinner at Mellow Mushroom we never even left. I know the previous renters apparently left the place in shambles but I must say I was very impressed with how great a job the cleaning lady did. Between the mountains, the beach and Las Vegas I spend a small fortune on getaways and have rarely stayed somewhere that was this comfortable. We will definitely be back for another visit in the near future. Thanks again,

The shower pressure was a wonderful surprise- it was great! The King bed slept very well. Maybe a few extra pillows would be good. We took the Queen [bed’s] pillows and were just fine. Kitchen amenities were nice. We had brought a few items from home to find you already had them here. The blender would not work though. Maybe a gate of some sort to keep small dogs or children from doing down the steps. We thought ahead though and brought one for our 2 pups. No big deal and it served the purpose. We really enjoyed the yard being fenced in for our “children”- Stevie & Tyler, our 12 & 13 year old Chihuahuas. It was VERY nice to let them roam around freely, especially the hill out by the hot tub. Having an extra tank for the grill was great. We had to switch it out while grilling. Glad it was at our fingertips. An outside broom would be good, to keep the stuff swept away from the tub and walking area.
Even though the weather was awesome this weekend, we still used the fireplace at night to make out evenings even more relaxing.
We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Hats off to the staff at Blue Ridge Rentals! They still provide customer service which you don’t find much of anymore. We stayed at the Grapevine Cottage right after it was renovated. We enjoyed it very much and that’s when we noticed the Bear Bungalow. I found out that you also have The Dog House- we are looking forward to staying there as well.

Thank you for the great service as always. Your staff is great to work with and you're the only rental company I use when visiting the Boone / Blowing Rock area. Arden Forest Lodge is a beautiful home. We had a great stay. It was like a home away from home. Great access to the Blue Ridge Parkway as well. We had a minor issue with the air conditioning on the day we arrived, but it was taken care of the very next morning which I really appreciate. Thanks again for another wonderful stay. We loved the location of the house. It was so easy to get out to the highway and go exploring. We went to a lot of different towns this week! The house is beautiful and the four of us had plenty of room to spread out. The boys loved having the downstairs to themselves. This really is a nice, clean house and we were very comfortable in it. We expect our vacation homes to be like out own home. On Golden Ridge lived up to our expectations!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The kids loved everything about it! This is a very beautiful cabin located very close to the Appalachian Ski Slopes... Guess what? We even got the chance to watch the skiers ski dooooooown the slopes!!! Perfect view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and at night you will love the sight of the city lights!!! Fun! Fun! Fun! We will be back SOON!!!! –
